George Soros has caused a lot of damage.
His political activities have pushed the world in a far more radical direction.
And this ugly attack on the U.S. was just linked to him.
George Soros clearly does not like the fact that the United States has been moving in a more conservative direction lately, and his organizations are issuing warnings about it.
Soros has a global network of organizations that are either partially or completely funded by him and he uses these groups to push forward his political agenda.
One of these groups, CIVICUS, is based in South Africa and is putting out dire warnings about what is happening in the United States.
According to the Miami Herald, “The United States was recently placed on a ‘global human rights watchlist’ by CIVICUS, a nonprofit based in South Africa. Critics raised concerns over CIVICUS’ substantial funding from liberal donors, including groups within the Soros philanthropic network. CIVICUS has attributed its decision to alleged assaults on democratic norms by the Trump administration.”
Of course, while Trump has said some concerning things like wanting to stay in the White House past 2028, he has not violated anyone’s “human rights.”
In fact, he has protected vulnerable people, like high school female athletes whose sports are being encroached on by confused men who believe they are women.
The article continues, “CIVICUS has received millions in funding from the Open Society Institute and the Foundation to Promote Open Society. George Soros’ Democracy PAC spent $67.5 million during the 2024 election cycle to support Democratic candidates.”
“Bill Gates has also influenced CIVICUS, with his foundation contributing approximately $1.5 million. CIVICUS’ actions come as Tesla has faced backlash due to controversial statements made by CEO Elon Musk. Musk alleged that groups financed by liberal donors have orchestrated protests against the company.”
“Musk named George Soros and Reid Hoffman among those potentially guilty of funding the protests. Tesla’s stock price has significantly dropped amid the rising tensions.”
Whatever one thinks of Donald Trump, the Constitution is still intact, and there is no reason for a Soros-backed group to be putting out warnings about “human rights” violations.
When people think of “human rights” violations, they picture things like what takes place in North Korea, or how the Chinese Communist Party treats the Uyghurs.
Nothing like that is happening in the United States, nor is it likely to start anytime in the near future, which makes these warnings hyperbolic.
Soros should reconsider his brand of politics and take a step back from his involvement on the world stage.
