Donald Trump is receiving support from the most unlikely source.
This liberal actor has been Trump’s arch-nemesis for years.
But now this famous actor switched sides and is supporting Donald Trump in an unexpected move.
Supporting Donald Trump as a member of the entertainment industry can be a fatal move for one’s career, given how aggressively liberal Hollywood is.
The vast majority of actors and musicians are supporting Kamala Harris in the upcoming election, and they are not shy about enforcing conformity among their ranks.
Michael Rapaport has been more than happy to identify as an anti-Trump liberal for years, but now he’s changing his tune.
Rapaport, known for his role in shows such as “My Name is Earl” and “Friends”, doesn’t typically support Republicans, but he is a big supporter of Israel.
Seeing what has happened with the Israel crisis, and how quickly leftists jumped to support Hamas as soon as they realized it was politically convenient, changed Rapaport’s perspective.
Now he is offering praise to Donald Trump, and apparently he’s willing to accept whatever consequences Hollywood doles out to him for it.
According to Breitbart, “Actor and comedian Michael Rapaport admitted Wednesday that he had been wrong about President Donald Trump.”
“Rapaport, who has been outspoken in his defense of Israel since October 7, spoke to Sage Steele on her podcast.”
Here is what he said: “I was wrong. ‘Cause. I talked s*** about Jared [Kushner] … I was first in line talking s*** about Trump. All day, every day.”
This was a brave admission by Rapaport. Many people do not like publicly admitting they were wrong, even after they change their minds.
This is especially true among people in the entertainment industry, who are constantly treated like VIPs and told how important and special they are.
The article continues, “Now, however, on the two issues he cares most about — the economy, and Israel — Rapaport said he was wrong about Trump.”
“He also said that he had been ‘ill-informed’ about President Donald Trump’s policy on Israel, and on how he ‘turned the screws on Iran.’”
“Rapaport ‘unendorsed’ President Joe Biden in May and had said in February that voting for Donald Trump was ‘on the table.’ He traveled to Israel in December to perform on television and show solidarity with Israelis against terror.”
It appears that voting for Trump is even more on the table than ever before for Rapaport, especially now that Kamala Harris is the nominee.
As anti-Israel as Biden has been, Harris has been dramatically worse.
While Biden has tried to keep a foot in both camps to some degree, Harris has completely thrown in her lot with the campus radicals.
That is exactly what is going to lose her the votes of people like Rapaport.
Donald Trump has picked up the support of one of the most unlikely actors, and he is surely thrilled about it.
