Donald Trump was elected as the next president and he had one big thing to say.
His supporters are hanging on his every word with bated breath.
And you won’t want to miss the message he just delivered to them.
It may have seemed inconceivable just a few short years ago that Donald Trump would end up back in the White House.
But thanks to some major foibles on the Democrat side – along with an incumbent president too feeble to run for re-election and a sudden candidate switch – Trump triumphed on election night.
His supporters were thrilled to know he will be bringing some much-needed change to the country.
As the results poured in and it became clear there was no path to victory for Kamala Harris, Trump supporters were on the edge of their seats waiting to hear his acceptance speech.
And he gave them exactly what they wanted and delivered a speech full of gratitude for the love and support they’ve given him.
According to an article from The Statesman, “Addressing his supporters in Florida, Trump expressed his gratitude to his supporters, calling the campaign ‘a movement like nobody’s ever seen before.’ ‘I want to thank you all very much. This is great. These are our friends. We have thousands of friends in this incredible movement,’ he added.”
This huge message of gratitude follows a very challenging campaign for Trump that included two horrifying assassination attempts.
These events left people scared about what was to come, but nonetheless, Trump achieved victory on election night.
The article continues, “Terming the ‘victory’ ‘the golden age of America,’ he emphasized his commitment to the nation, stating, ‘I want to thank the American people for the extraordinary honour of being elected the 47th president. And every citizen, I will fight for you, for your family, and your future. Every single day. I will be fighting for you. And with every breath in my body, I will not rest until we have delivered the strong, safe, and prosperous America that our children deserve and that you deserve.’”
“The results mark a major political comeback for Trump, who had lost his 2020 re-election bid to incumbent President Joe Biden.”
It is indeed one of the biggest comebacks of all time, as the only other president ever to serve two non-consecutive terms in the White House was Grover Cleveland in the 19th century.
It’s been well over 100 years since then and Trump made history winning back the White House in 2024.
His second term will surely be full of surprises, some good and some bad.
But for now, his supporters are excited – and likely relieved – knowing he’s heading back to the White House.
