There’s a lot about the government that Americans don’t know.
But it may be coming to light very soon.
Because Tulsi Gabbard is launching one highly controversial investigation into the U.S. government.
The intelligence community is not thrilled with Tulsi Gabbard being the Director of National Intelligence.
And now she’s decided to launch an investigation in the intelligence community to find out what they’ve really been up to in recent years.
Gabbard has long been skeptical of the intelligence community, particularly when they access records of innocent American citizens without warrants.
These are the kinds of things she wants the public to know about.
The Hill reports: “Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard announced Tuesday that she was creating a task force to investigate the intelligence community to increase ‘transparency and accountability.’”
“The Director’s Initiatives Group (DIG) has plans to execute President Trump’s executive order ‘aimed at rebuilding trust’ in the intelligence community, according to a statement from Gabbard.”
The intelligence community has faced serious accusations of weaponization in recent years as well as spying on Americans.
“So far, the task force is ‘well underway’ reviewing documents for potential declassification on various topics including the COVID-19 pandemic, Trump’s Crossfire Hurricane investigation, Anomalous Health Incidents, the Biden administration’s ‘domestic surveillance’ and censorship against Americans,” the Hill continues.
“The group is also in the process of revoking security clearances for individuals who ‘no longer have an active role in national security,’ including former President Biden, former Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.) and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.”
Gabbard made it clear she’s doing the job President Trump hired her to do saying, “President Trump promised the American people maximum transparency and accountability. We are committed to executing the President’s vision and focusing the Intelligence Community on its core mission.”
