Elon Musk has made a major enemy in Trump’s closest circles.
Trump’s former chief strategist has vowed to ruin him.
And now Musk is being hunted down.
Steve Bannon holds some intense and extreme ideological views that he’s very committed to.
Even his views on immigration go well beyond the typical MAGA view of stopping illegal immigration at the border.
And Bannon has made it clear how outraged he is that Elon Musk wants to make legal immigration an easier process.
Musk, like most conservatives, wants to shut down illegal immigration and secure the border – a much-needed response to the wide open border policies of the Biden administration.
But Musk is not opposed to all immigration as long as people are going through the process and coming here the right way.
And now Bannon has made it his highest mission to take Musk down and keep him as far away from Trump as he can.
According to Vanity Fair, “Steve Bannon, former advisor to President-elect Donald Trump and a podcaster who calls his right-wing audience on ‘War Room’ his ‘army of the awakened,’ is determined to get billionaire and new Trump ally Elon Musk far away from the White House.”
“In an interview with the Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera, Bannon said that he’ll get it done before the president-elect takes office in just over a week.”
Putting aside the very cult-like name that Bannon gave his followers – his “army of the awakened” – there is no chance Bannon can accomplish his goal.
Trump will be president in a few days and remains on very good terms with Musk.
The article continues, “The pair have been dueling over what the future of the Make America Great Again strategy ought to look like—and who should be let into that movement’s ranks and the country’s borders. Bannon, and some other staunchly anti-immigration MAGA talking heads like Laura Loomer, are against the highly coveted H-1B visa program—which allows employers to hire foreign workers ‘in specialty occupations or as fashion models.’ Specialty occupations require the visa applicant to have at least a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent, per the Department of Labor. This kind of visa often goes to workers in fields such as math, engineering, and technology.”
What needs to stop is the open border policies of Joe Biden that have allowed anybody and everybody to come into the United States.
But if Hispanic people or others want to come to America and contribute to our economy, Elon Musk says there should be a legal process for that – and most conservatives agree.
