The Left is trying to push its racist theories onto children.
And all the while, they claim that Critical Race Theory doesn’t even exist in schools.
But now, one teacher just blew their cover for the entire country to see.
Critical Race Theory has exploded onto the scene as one of the most controversial political topics in the entire country.
It has been around for years, but in the last decade or so it has been repurposed into a K-12 educational strategy to teach young children bizarre racial ideas.
The core of this theory is that nearly everything in our society, from standardized tests to the nuclear family, “perpetuates white supremacy” and must be burned to the ground.
Those who are pushing Critical Race Theory are being very careful to deny that they are doing so, even when the proof is immediately obvious.
For example, Critical Race Theorists like Ibram X. Kendi and Robin DiAngelo are now taught in elementary school classrooms.
But many Leftists still claim that Critical Race Theory is an “advanced legal theory” that is “only taught to graduate law students.”
This, of course, is completely bogus. And one teacher, who is himself a Leftist, exposed the whole thing.
He talked on Wesley Yang’s Substack about his insane experiences at the school he teaches at.
One of those experiences included children being absent. He was teaching summer classes, and many of his students were not showing up.
Naturally, he did not want to give class credit to the students who didn’t show up. But he was told he had to give them credit anyway – for “racial justice” reasons.
“Their explicit position is that requiring attendance for any district program unfairly victimizes children of color, as does factoring in attendance to any student’s grades during the regular school year,” he wrote in the Substack article.
Such a policy is absolutely ludicrous. “Children of color” are just as capable of showing up to class as white students are.
This paternalistic attitude on the Left, which states that “people of color” aren’t capable of performing basic tasks, is unthinkably racist.
He goes on to give more examples, writing that “I once attended a meeting where we brainstormed strategies to increase AP enrollment. When we moved to discuss the gap in enrollment between Black and white students, a senior teacher said that trying to register more children of color for AP classes is inherently racist and that putting greater value on AP classes at all is an expression of white supremacy.”
You read that right – enrolling more children of color for AP classes is now considered…racist.
Another colleague of his once told him that “most of our students are white and their test scores dropping slightly would help shrink the racial achievement gap in our state.”
In other words, his colleague was recommended that white students intentionally be taught the wrong things in order to drop their test scores and close the gap.
It is clear that Critical Race Theory has infected a number of educational institutions, and it is time for parents and educators to fight back against this insanity.
