Joe Biden’s Deep State isn’t going to give up their spy powers any time soon.
But Americans can keep his prying eyes out of their personal lives.
And now, a breaking news report just came out showing how Americans can keep the NSA away.
The U.S. government has become a surveillance state. The situation with Tucker Carlson proves that, where he got targeted by the Deep State for his political views.
Many Americans have given up on the idea of privacy. They say things like “if I have nothing to hide, then I have nothing to fear.”
But if the government has total access to all information about Americans, they have unlimited power, and no one can oppose them.
A new report from The Intercept talks about the recent Pegasus NSO scandal, where an Israeli surveillance company was selling their software to governments around the world.
The governments were then using the software to target dissidents and journalists who were threatening their power.
However, the article goes on to explain how the software targets people, and how people can protect themselves against it.
One key point in the article is that the Pegasus software uses scams to lure people in.
The article states that these scams will pretend to be banks, or credit cards, or parcel delivery services. Others will relate to personal matters, like alleged evidence of infidelity, or claim that the targeted person is facing some immediate security risk.
The article goes on to say that if someone receives an email with a link that claims to be urgent, such as stating that a package is about to arrive or that a credit card is about to be charged, “avoid the impulse to immediately click on it.”
Another report from ZDNet talks about how end-to-end encryption is another way to avoid government spies.
The article states that “end-to-end encryption is also becoming more popular. This form of encryption prevents anyone except those communicating from accessing or reading the content of messages, including vendors themselves.”
The most popular, and most secure, end-to-end encrypted app is Signal, which is essentially a texting app, but it’s encrypted so no one else can read the conversation.
However, it’s important to note that Signal is only secure if both people in the conversation are using it.
Encryption is a powerful tool, and that’s why the government has worked so hard to try and ban it.
At a Congressional hearing in February, FBI Director Christopher Wray whined that if Congress does not ban encryption, “we will not be able to get access to the content.”
If more Americans started using Signal, and other apps like that, instead of normal texting, the Deep State would have a much harder time accessing their communications.
The government has a number of ways to try and access people’s information. Whether it’s by sending them scams through private surveillance companies like Pegasus, or by hacking into their text messages and emails, there are many threats to Americans’ privacy.
But simple measures like avoiding clicking on scams, or downloading encrypted apps like Signal, can keep the government spies at bay.
