Finally, a major corporation has shown a spine against the Left-wing mob.
The government tried to come after them and force them to comply.
But now, they’re choosing to stand up and say “No!” to the tyrants who want to control them.
In-N-Out Burger is an iconic burger chain, particularly in California. They have 358 locations throughout the Western part of the United States.
The government in San Francisco tried to implement a vaccine mandate that required businesses to police their customers, ask for their papers, and kick out people who did not have the required documentation.
Most businesses meekly complied with this authoritarian law, even those who didn’t particularly agree with it or want to.
They complied out of fear, and an unwillingness to rock the boat.
But In-N-Out Burger was different.
According to The Guardian, “In-N-Out Burger has become the first restaurant in San Francisco to be temporarily closed for failing to enforce the city’s vaccination mandate. City officials made the move on October 14th after the burger chain said it won’t force staff to check that customers were fully vaccinated before allowing them to dine inside the restaurant.”
In response to the news, In-N-Out Burger hasn’t backed down. In fact – they’ve doubled down, according to the report.
“In-N-Out has been bullish in its response to the ruling, admitting that the restaurant was not turning away customers who didn’t show proof of vaccination.”
The company’s chief legal and business officer, Arnie Wensinger, had this to say:
“We refuse to become the vaccination police for any government. It is unreasonable, invasive, and unsafe to force our restaurant associates to segregate customers into those who may be served and those who may not.”
“We fiercely disagree with any government dictate that forces a private company to discriminate against customers who choose to patronize their business. This is clear governmental overreach and is intrusive, improper, and offensive.”
One of the biggest reasons that woke culture has gotten such a stranglehold over American life is that people at the top of major institutions have been weak and skittish in response to the threats of the mob.
A clear example of this has been the latest Dave Chappelle comedy special on Netflix, for which the Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos has been meekly apologizing to his radical employees who want it banned.
If people at the top of institutions are weak and submissive, they will always bend a knee to the mob, for no other reason than because they don’t want to rock the boat.
What In-N-Out Burger has done is inspiring, and serves as a beacon to other corporations who may want to take the same stand, but haven’t yet had the courage.
People must never cave to mobs. It always leads to bad outcomes.
If America is to be saved from the current Marxist cultural revolution the radical Left is pushing, it will require courage on the part of people in power.
In-N-Out Burger is an unlikely hero in this fight, but they are heroes nonetheless, and everyone should follow their example.
