The Republican Party is in crisis mode as conservatives struggle with liberals for control.
And nowhere is that divide more clear than in Congress, where multiple RINO Republicans hold power.
But now, two of the worst liberal Republicans just got career-ending news.
If the past two years have taught conservatives anything, it’s that not all Republicans are sold on the idea of fighting for their principles.
Indeed, many Republicans actually want to sell out to the Left on virtually every issue imaginable, as long as it means they can gain the favor of admiration of Left-wing politicians and activists.
And two of the top RINOs of them all are Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger.
Cheney and Kinzinger represent Congressional seats in Wyoming and Illinois respectively. And both are among the most woke-lite Republicans in Congress today.
Not only did both vote with the Democrats to impeach President Trump, but Cheney and Kinzinger have worked tirelessly to pander to Democrats more than respect the very Republicans who elected them in the first place.
But now, both of their careers are in danger like never before.
The Hill reports, “The Republican National Committee (RNC) on Friday voted formally to censure both GOP Reps. Liz Cheney (Wyo.) and Adam Kinzinger (Ill.) over their criticism of former President Trump and participation in the special House committee investigating the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol riot.”
Cheney and Kinzinger are guilty of far more than just voting to impeach Trump however.
Both of them have spent more time providing cover to the far Left than they have actually fighting them.
Republicans are begging for their elected officials to stand up to Democrats and defeat them, not join them in undermining the principles which made America great.
Cheney and Kinzinger would rather surrender to the Left before a fight even begins, and in doing so, they undermine the argument that other Republican conservative champions want to make, like Senator Rand Paul or Congressman Thomas Massie.
In fact, Cheney even donated to Massie’s Left-wing primary opponent in 2020, all in a bid to remove a conservative champion from Congress.
That effort failed, but that hasn’t stopped Cheney and Kinzinger from continuing their work to undermine conservatives in Washington D.C.
But now, the party is striking back against them, having voted to censure both Cheney and Kinzinger for their actions in surrendering to the Left time and time again.
For his part, Kinzinger isn’t even bothering to run for Congress again out of fear of losing his House primary to a conservative challenger.
And for Cheney, she’s having to rely on Democrats providing funding for her own upcoming House GOP primary battle in Wyoming, a state which is the most conservative in the entire nation.
There is a very good chance that both of them will not be in office come January 2023, and the latest news of the pair being censured for their actions will certainly help to bolster those odds.
