It’s becoming clearer by the day what the media’s agenda truly is.
And it’s not the well-being of the American public.
Now, their lies are on the verge of causing unthinkable chaos and tragedy.
The media has always been on the side of war and violence. They support reckless foreign adventures because of their ties to the CIA and the military-industrial complex.
During the Bush years, it was Republicans who fell victim to the lies of the media. But now things have changed.
A new poll that came out shows how Republican voters have woken up to the truth of the media’s pro-war lies, and Democrats are being suckered into believing them.
The poll showed asked whether the U.S. should get involved in a war against Russia over Ukraine.
Such a war, of course, would almost certainly turn into World War 3, and would have a high probability of turning nuclear – killing almost everyone in the U.S. within the span of an hour or two.
According to the poll, 58% of Democrats support going to war with Russia to defend Ukraine, while only 41% of Republicans support this.
What this demonstrates is that Democrats are getting their information from mainstream media sources that act as a mouthpiece for the CIA and the “National Security State.”
Of course, the term “National Security State” is wildly inaccurate, since there’s nothing that would make us less secure than a nuclear war that wipes out every man, woman, and child in America.
But the CIA, and their mouthpieces in the media, is more concerned with settling scores with Putin than it is with keeping Americans safe.
None of this is to say that Putin is anything other than a brutal dictator and a thug. His treatment of Russian dissidents is abhorrent, and his actions towards Ukraine are destructive and wrong.
But the purpose of American foreign policy is to keep Americans safe. And Putin is not a threat to Americans, nor is he a serious threat to any NATO country.
Republicans seem to have figured that out, while Democrats seem to be getting dangerous misinformation from the liberal mainstream media.
Many people are shocked to find out that Republican voters do not want nuclear war with Russia.
Sarah Longwell, a NeverTrumper who writes for The Bulwark – a NeverTrump website – wrote a distressed message on Twitter, saying “Lots of differences between our focus group of Texas R’s and D’s, but one of the wildest was that the Dem group was more open to sending troops to Ukraine than the Republican group.”
Independent journalist Glenn Greenwald responded to her tweet by saying, “This should no longer be surprising. Polling data consistently shows Dems are more pro-censorship, more pro-CIA/FBI and more pro-militarism. Just facts: largely but not only the fruits of Russiagate and the realignment with neocons.”
Again, it goes without saying that Putin is a very bad person who oppresses his own people.
But the U.S. continues to get itself into dangerous entanglements around the world, while China exerts economic power and hasn’t been in a war since the 1970’s.
If the U.S. keeps making these mistakes, China will win.
