The FBI has recently been put under an intense microscope.
The Bureau lost a lot of credibility after the Russiagate hoax.
And the FBI told one shocking lie to help the Bidens.
During an interview with comedian and podcast host Joe Rogan, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg dropped the bombshell saying that prior to the 2020 election, the FBI told him to be on the lookout for Russian disinformation.
Weeks before the 2020 election, The New York Post’s Hunter Biden “laptop from hell” dropped, but Big Tech outlets like Twitter and Facebook suppressed it because they were led to believe it was a foreign disinformation operation.
But internal Facebook documents uncovered from a lawsuit show that the FBI knew the laptop story was not a Russian plant.
Congressman Jim Jordan showed a transcript of a question asked to Supervisory Special Agent Elvis Chan, the FBI’s top liaison with tech companies like Facebook.
Chan was asked, “How about Facebook, other than that meeting you referred to where an analyst asked the FBI to comment on the Hunter Biden investigation, are you aware of any communications between anyone at Facebook and anyone at the FBI related to the Hunter Biden laptop story?”
“No,” Chan responded.
But Jordan declared Chan was lying.
Jordan wrote, “COMPLETELY FALSE. The Committee has recently obtained an internal Facebook document PROVING that Agent Chan had a secret ‘follow up’ call with Facebook about the Hunter Biden laptop story on October 15, just one day after the [New York Post] story and the first Facebook meeting!”
The internal Facebook document detailed how the company spoke with Chan and how he reiterated the laptop did not originate from a foreign operation.
The memo read, “I spoke with SSA Elivs Chan (FBI San Francisco) on 15 October 2020, as a follow up to the call with the Foreign Influence Task Force on 14 October. I asked SSA Chan whether there was any update or change since the discussion on 14 October 2020 as to whether the FBI saw any evidence suggesting foreign sponsorship or direction of the leak of information related to Hunter Biden as published in the New York Post story on 14 October. SSA Chan advised that he was up to speed on the current state of the matter within the FBI and that there was no current evidence to suggest any foreign connection or direction of the leak. SSA Chan assured that the FBI would be in contact if any additional information on this was developed through further investigation.”
The FBI knew well in advance the laptop story was real.
Not only that, but 50 former senior intelligence officials signed a letter saying the laptop had “all the hallmarks of Russian disinformation.”
Biden used the letter during a debate with Trump to sweep his family’s alleged corruption under the rug.
Donald Trump was right when he called out the deep state.
