Biden’s “Domestic War on Terror” is under way right now.
The FBI is cleansing their ranks of anyone who disagrees with the progressive agenda.
And now they are taking the fight directly to the American people.
Joe Biden learned a lot from George W. Bush’s “war on terror,” and he is trying to apply the same principles to his political enemies here at home.
One of the biggest lessons he learned is that the Constitution can be ignored if it gets in the way of your political agenda.
And that’s why he is now taking a hacksaw to the First Amendment and purging people from the FBI just for having the wrong political views.
Of course, most people at the FBI are already radical authoritarians. But the FBI is a large organization, and in any organization that size, there are always going to be people who have other views.
But now the FBI is actively hunting down those people and removing them. If you disagree with the “Domestic War on Terror” then you are fired.
According to Laura Ingraham, “Whistleblowers have told Congressman Jim Jordan that the agency is in full-blown retaliation mode, referring to what’s going on as a ‘purge’ of agency employees who hold conservative views.”
“One employee reportedly had a security clearance taken away and then he was indefinitely suspended from his duty and got his pay taken away.”
This is a direct violation of the First Amendment. The FBI cannot give partisan political tests to its employees. They are free to hold whatever personal views they would like.
But the FBI, since its inception, has acted more like a gang than like a public service agency.
- Edgar Hoover, the man who the FBI building is named after, famously spied on Martin Luther King, Jr., and threatened to expose him, and tried to blackmail him into committing suicide.
He tried to suspend habeus corpus during the Korean War and throw American citizens in jail with no charges or trial.
In fact, President Harry Truman had this to say about Hoover: “We want no Gestapo or secret police. The FBI is trending in that direction. They are dabbling in sex-life scandals and plain blackmail. J. Edgar Hoover would give his right eye to take over, and all congressmen and senators are afraid of him.”
America should have listened to Harry Truman’s words, but instead, the FBI continued to expand their power, and now is a behemoth like never before.
And it’s no longer just the FBI. Now the CIA and NSA wield immense power as well, and use it against the American people.
And congressmen and senators are still afraid of them – perhaps even more so than they were in the J. Edgar Hoover days.
That’s why Congress will not take action to restrict the powers of the Intelligence Community.
However, some members of Congress, such as Senator Rand Paul, have publicly called for reforming the FISA law to restrain the FBI and other agencies.
The rest of Congress should follow their lead, or else the FBI is going to continue spiraling out of control.
