Ron DeSantis has claimed yet another monumental victory.
Joe Biden tried to send his Department of Justice Monitors down to Florida.
But Ron DeSantis sent them right back to D.C. and went on to win a historic election.
With a landslide win in Florida on Tuesday night, Ron DeSantis established himself as a leader of the Conservative movement.
Florida used to be a swing state, dating back to the famous Bush-Gore recount in 2000. But that all changed when Ron DeSantis became the governor.
Now he has defeated Charlie Crist, a former governor himself, by almost 20 points in a landslide that the media never saw coming.
But it didn’t come without trouble from Joe Biden and the feds.
According to an article from The Floridian, written just before the election, “The DeSantis administration is pushing back against President Joe Biden’s Department of Justice’s apparent effort to send in election ‘monitors’ inside state-run polling locations within several Florida counties.”
Of course, DeSantis’s Florida does not need any of these “election monitors.” Florida runs the best elections in the country. They count their votes quickly and fairly and report the results right away.
They are a model for how every other state should operate.
But Biden decided to send federal officials. And DeSantis was not having it.
The article continues, “In a letter to John ‘Bert’ Russ, Deputy Chief & Elections Coordinator for the Department of Justice by Florida Department of State General Counsel Brad McVay, the DeSantis administration warns that under Florida statute, DOJ monitors ‘are not permitted’ inside Florida polling locations.”
And DeSantis isn’t just writing letters. He is taking direct action to block these DOJ employees from coming down to Florida to cause trouble.
According to the article, “The DeSantis administration will in turn dispatch its own election integrity monitors to ensure that the federal government does not interfere in Florida’s election process.”
“The apparent elections overstep by the Biden administration could be perceived as a form of election day intimidation.”
This is a completely inappropriate step for the Biden administration to take. They have no right to impose their own elections process on a state that has proven its ability to conduct elections without a hitch.
The DOJ has no business in Florida polling places. And luckily, Ron DeSantis was able to put a stop to it.
Republicans had some disappointing results, but one of the best results across the country was DeSantis’s overwhelming victory.
It’s now becoming clearer and clearer that DeSantis has the best chance out of anybody to finally take down the Democrat machine in 2024, just like he managed to do in Florida.
And if DeSantis can defeat Biden, or whoever the Democrat nominee is, and becoming President of the United States in 2024, he will have an opportunity to become one of the greatest presidents in U.S. history, just like Ronald Reagan.
