No one punches back against the Left as effectively as Ron DeSantis.
And he took matters into his own hands when his opponent compared him to Satan.
Now, Charlie Crist is reeling from the political damage DeSantis did to him.
The Left should have learned by now that when they attack Ron DeSantis, he turns the tables right back on them.
He is the most effective political fighter against their dishonest agenda, and they have proven completely incapable of defeating him.
In fact, it’s gotten so bad for Democrats that DeSantis’s opponent, former Florida Governor Charlie Crist, is now resorting to calling him childish names.
According to Fox News, “When speaking at Sally O’Brien’s in Key West, Crist made a peculiar comparison of DeSantis burning books and the devil being reincarnated. He then asked his supporters whether they knew about DeSantis’ nickname.”
“You know some people call him DeSatan?” Crist asked.
The article continued, “Crist, a former governor of Florida who is attempting to return to the governor’s mansion, said the race is ‘DeSatan versus that’ – pointing to one of his campaign signs. Several people in the audience shouted ‘Christ!’ Crist responded, ‘Think about it. Boom.’”
That’s right, Charlie Crist is now comparing himself to Jesus Christ and saying that he’s going to take on Satan himself, which apparently is Ron DeSantis.
But the difference between DeSantis and weak-kneed Republican politicians is that DeSantis doesn’t roll over for the Left. He punches back.
And while there are other Republican politicians who punch back against the Left as well, there is another difference: DeSantis does it effectively, and he wins.
DeSantis, through his spokesman Christina Pushaw, immediately shared the video on social media for the world to see. And Pushaw had this to say: “Charlie Crist has claimed on multiple occasions to be like Jesus Christ and called his opponent ‘DeSatan’ but I don’t see the Miami Herald writing about that rhetoric or aggressive language.”
Now the video is blowing up, and Crist is getting mocked for his insane rhetoric. And DeSantis’s lead in the polls continues to grow.
In fact, DeSantis’s lead has grown so big that FiveThirtyEight, which uses polls to project the winners of national races, is now giving him a 92% chance of being re-elected as governor of Florida.
They estimate his lead over Crist at 53.6%-44.3% – a gap of over 9 points which is far larger than the margin Trump won Florida by in 2020.
If the conservative movement is going to defeat the Left and get America back on track for years to come, it needs a charismatic new leader to rise up who will lead America into a new age.
Ronald Reagan was that type of figure in the 1980s, and the result was a resurgence of freedom and the fall of the Soviet Union.
Ron DeSantis is proving that he just might be the next great figure like that. His battles against the Left are making a real difference, and his leadership in Florida is leading to a resurgence of the conservative movement.
