The walls are closing in on Adam Schiff.
It’s a nightmare scenario and it could cost Schiff his entire career.
One top Democrat is now demanding he be thrown out of Congress.
One of the few issues Adam Schiff is correct about is his support of Israel.
This should be an obvious stance for nearly everybody, but a huge slice of the radical left has been openly supporting the outright terrorism of Hamas.
While it’s totally valid to question the policies of the Israeli government when appropriate, supporting a violent terrorist group that slaughters civilians by the thousands is obscene.
Schiff might be one of the worst people in Congress, but he at least has the basic sense to not support shooting civilians at a music festival, beheading babies, or any of the other grotesque acts that Hamas has committed.
This stance is now causing an uproar among the radical left in the Democrat Party and the Mayor of Burbank, California, is calling for Schiff to be defeated in his Senate race after his stance on Israel was made public.
According to KTLA 5 News, “Burbank Mayor Konstantine Anthony has withdrawn his endorsement of U.S. Rep. Adam Schiff in the race to replace the late Dianne Feinstein in the U.S. Senate.”
“Schiff, a Burbank resident who is facing off against a slew of challengers including fellow Reps. Katie Porter and Barbara Lee, was given Anthony’s endorsement ‘at the beginning of this year,’ the mayor said in a statement posted to X, formerly Twitter.”
“While Anthony touts Schiff’s support of ‘women, LGBTQ individuals, gun violence prevention activists, and labor unions,’ he said he cannot back Schiff given the congressman’s support of Israel in the ongoing battle against Hamas.”
It’s worth noting that Schiff is giving up his House seat to run for Senate, so Anthony’s withdrawal of his endorsement for Schiff’s Senate campaign is effectively a call for Schiff to be removed from Congress entirely.
The article continues, “Anthony, who recently received backlash for his participation in a spanking by a drag queen at a private event, supports a ceasefire and a peaceful solution to the fighting, he said in his statement.”
A ceasefire sounds great in theory – but it was Hamas who broke ceasefire by murdering thousands of people. No matter how much of a “hawk” or a “dove” someone is, when it comes to issues of war, nearly everyone agrees that if your country gets attacked, you have the right to respond.
The U.S. had the right to go after Al Qaeda in the wake of 9/11. Staying in Afghanistan for 20 years wasn’t smart, but the hunt for Bin Laden was justified.
It’s ironic that after years of lying and getting away with it, the one thing that could actually take Schiff down would be his rightful stance that Jews in Israel shouldn’t be massacred.
