Michelle Obama could be the one to replace Joe Biden in the 2024 election.
As Biden continues to decline, Democrats are looking for an alternative.
And Michelle Obama’s presidential hopes just received one big boost.
If Democrats have any prayer of winning in 2024, they need to find an alternative to Joe Biden as quickly as possible.
No one in their right mind believes he’s capable of serving another four years, given his already-obvious decline and the fact that he would be 86’ed by the end of his second term.
That’s why Democrats are in panic mode, as Biden refuses to admit that he isn’t up to the job anymore.
They are trying to find someone viable who could force him out of the race, and they may have finally found their person.
Michelle Obama is still very popular in some circles after her time as First Lady.
She has far fewer negatives than most of the Democrat politicians who could replace Biden like Kamala Harris or Gavin Newsom.
Now one poll is showing even Biden’s strongest supporters in the party could be open to Michelle Obama replacing him on the ticket.
According to Newsweek, “Three-quarters of those who voted for President Joe Biden in 2020 said they would back former First Lady Michelle Obama if she ran for the 2024 Democratic nomination, according to a survey.”
“A Redfield and Wilton Strategies poll of 1,500 U.S. adults conducted exclusively for Newsweek found that46 percent of eligible voters would support the attorney and wife of former President Barack Obama if she decided to run for the White House.”
“When the results are broken down further, the data shows that 75 percent of those who voted for Biden in the last election would support Michelle Obama, as well as 21 percent who supported Republican Donald Trump.”
These are awful results for Biden, and great news for Michelle Obama if she has any interest in running.
She claims that she does not, but it must be tempting for her to jump into the race after seeing numbers like this.
The article continues, “The poll was conducted before Biden clinched the 2024 Democratic nomination on Tuesday following resounding primary victories in Georgia, Mississippi, and Washington. The survey results come amid ongoing concerns about the 81-year-old’s reelection hopes.”
“Polls suggest Biden is behind Trump with less than eight months ahead of the November elections, with the president currently recording his lowest-ever average approval rating of 37.4 percent.”
Biden is simply not a viable candidate for 2024 at this point. He was already showing signs of decline in 2020, but many people assumed he would just serve one term and then leave.
Now his ego has gotten in the way and he’s insisting on running for re-election even as his poll numbers plummet and reports come out about his struggles with memory.
Democrats know they need to replace Joe Biden, and if they can convince Michelle Obama to run, they may have a viable alternative.
