John Fetterman’s handlers were hoping no one would find out.
But now everyone has seen the video and his camp they have a lot of explaining to do.
The video shows a man pretending to be John Fetterman.
John Fetterman has been one of the most controversial figures in the Senate since the day he was elected.
Many people believe he’s not fit to be a U.S. Senator between his frequent absences from the Senate and his unprofessional gym attire.
But he still has a loyal band of supporters who are convinced that nothing is wrong and he is actually a great political leader.
One of those supporters was caught in a bizarre video recently that has left a lot of people scratching their heads.
Fetterman, who is a supporter of Israel, was confronted at a North Shore restaurant in Pittsburgh by a pro-Hamas activist who was mad that he didn’t support the recent terrorist attacks.
Of course, this is one of the few issues that Fetterman is right about.
But what happened next was incredibly strange – a man who was dressed as Fetterman kicked the activist out of the restaurant.
According to Fox News, “A man dressed as Pennsylvania Sen. John Fetterman, a Democrat, tossed out an activist who confronted the senator at a Pittsburgh bar.”
“During a Sunday event at Shorty’s Pins x Pints, Fetterman was approached by former Pittsburgh Law adjunct professor Dan Kovalik and questioned why he does not support a cease-fire in Israel amid the nation’s war with the Palestinian terrorist organization Hamas.”
“Fetterman has been a vocal supporter of Israel since the war against Hamas began on Oct. 7.”
Apparently, the man was dressed as Fetterman as some sort of Halloween costume, but many wondered why a man in costume was responsible for the security of a U.S. Senator. It simply made no sense.
The article reveals that Fetterman’s staff attempted to distance themselves from the man in question: “Fetterman’s office told Fox News Digital that the owner of the establishment was the person who removed Kovalik and is not a part of the senator’s official or campaign staff.”
“The Pennsylvania Democrat’s office said the senator values civil discourse with his constituents, including conversations he had with constituents who agreed and disagreed with Fetterman’s stance at the Sunday event.”
Regardless of what actually happened, this was a very bizarre situation and had people asking a lot of questions.
Fetterman’s entire tenure in the Senate has been bizarre, and it seems he doesn’t take the job fully seriously.
After all, he’s tried to wear basketball shorts and a bowling shirt on the floor of the U.S. Senate, instead of a suit and tie.
And now he’s in the news again for the odd behavior of his staff.
