Donald Trump is about to take office as the next president of the United States.
Many people do not know what to expect.
But one major announcement just revealed something big about his second term.
After he won the election, Donald Trump’s supporters immediately began to celebrate as their favorite politician made a comeback and reclaimed the White House.
Now, he is going to be inaugurated as the next president of the United States and will become only the second president – and the first since the 1800s – to serve two non-consecutive terms.
Trump supporters are eager to come support him for his inauguration and thousands are expected to flock to D.C. to witness this historic event.
Trump will surely be thrilled to see thousands of his biggest fans spread out on the National Mall waving Trump flags and wearing MAGA hats to celebrate his victory.
According to NBC New York, “Inauguration Day happens every four years on January 20 (or January 21 if January 20 falls on a Sunday). In 2025, January 20 falls on a Monday. The inauguration ceremony takes place at the U.S. Capitol building in Washington, DC.”
“The vice-president-elect is sworn in first and repeats the same oath of office, in use since 1884, as senators, representatives, and other federal employees.”
J.D. Vance will be sworn in as the Vice President, which is extraordinary considering that two years ago he was just a private citizen who had never served in elected office of any kind.
And it’s even more extraordinary considering the type of childhood that he had, growing up very poor in Appalachia with little money even for food.
The article continues, “The inauguration is planned by the Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies (JCCIC). Inaugural events include the swearing-in ceremony, the inaugural address, and the pass in review. Learn more about each event from the JCCIC.”
“The Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies makes a limited number of inauguration tickets available to the public through members of Congress. Tickets are free and allow you to watch in person on the grounds of the U.S. Capitol as the president and vice president are sworn in on January 20, 2025.”
“Tickets will be available from your members of Congress in the weeks leading up to the inauguration. Some members may begin accepting requests for tickets before then.”
This will be a very exciting and momentous occasion for Trump, his family, and everyone who has supported him.
