The government is turning its greatest powers against its own citizens.
And right now, nearly all of those being targeted are conservative Republicans.
Now, the FBI’s greatest abuse of power was just exposed, and it is bone-chilling.
In October of 2020, the FBI claimed that they “busted” a plot to kidnap Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer.
They said that a group of right-wing extremists had planned to kidnap Gov. Whitmer at her vacation property in Elk Rapids, Michigan, and seize control of the state government.
However, that entire plot was hatched by the FBI. The entire purpose was to create a false story to arrest conservatives. And now the truth is coming out.
A new report just came out in BuzzFeed, of all places, showing how FBI informants hatched the whole plot under direct orders from their superiors at the Bureau.
They lured vulnerable people into the plot and then made a dramatic show of arresting them, claiming they had saved Whitmer’s life from “right-wing extremists.”
But the so-called “right-wing extremists” didn’t create the plot. They were minding their own business until the FBI lured them in.
According to The Federalist, “The problem with the case is that it appears the FBI, through informants and undercover agents, hatched the kidnapping plot, served in key leadership positions of the militia group, trained the militia members in military tactics, actively recruited participants, and funded much of the militia’s activities. Then, when various members of the Watchman militia became uncomfortable with the kidnapping plot, with several quitting, the FBI’s primary informant pushed the plot along, eventually becoming the militia group’s leader.”
In other words, the militia members themselves were uncomfortable with the idea of kidnapping the governor. And they actively tried to push back against it.
But the FBI agents (who were pretending to be militia members) pressured them into pushing forward with it, and then the FBI “busted” the whole thing and claimed they saved Whitmer’s life.
The tactics the FBI is using now against Republicans are very similar to the tactics they used against Muslim-Americans during the first War on Terror.
They would hatch a fake plot, find mentally handicapped young Muslim men, pressure them to join, and then “bust” the plot, saying they had stopped an imminent attack.
The reason they do this is that the FBI needs Americans to be afraid in order to justify their existence. They survive off of fear, and without it, they die.
In the early 2000s, they needed Americans to be afraid of Muslims, and they succeeded. Now they need Americans to be afraid of Republicans, and they’re succeeding at that too.
According to independent journalist Glenn Greenwald, in 2015, “the FBI issued a press release praising itself for arresting “a Cincinnati-area man for a plot to attack the U.S. Capitol and kill government officials.” But as I reported, the scary terrorist was “20-year-old Christopher Cornell, [who] is unemployed, lives at home, spends most of his time playing video games in his bedroom, still addresses his mother as ‘Mommy’ and regards his cat as his best friend.”
The FBI is hatching fake terror plots and using it to blame conservatives. There’s no telling what kind of dark path this will lead America down.
