Nancy Pelosi wants absolute power.
She’s proven she’ll go to any lengths to achieve that goal.
And now her plans are taking shape.
Pelosi is worried that another Republican, such as Trump, may someday take office. If that happens, she wants the military to have the power to target conservatives – even if that means disobeying the President.
So among the recommendations released by her Jan. 6th task force is a proposal to strip the President of control over the military.
This recommendation will give Democrat military generals the power to disobey the President and deploy troops at will.
According to Military.com, “the task force report makes an unprecedented request to give the commander for the D.C. Guard the authority to deploy troops without the President’s permission under extreme circumstances – something that could raise significant questions on the integrity of civilian control of the military.”
In 3rd world countries such as Myanmar, or many war-torn nations in Africa, the military operates independently from the elected government. They can deploy troops at will, and even overthrow leaders if they so choose. They essentially have total power over their country, with no checks and balances.
The United States has a different system. The military is supposed to be under civilian control, subject entirely to the decisions of elected leaders. That is how the United States Constitution is designed.
But now Nancy Pelosi appears to be changing that, moving the U.S. further in the direction of those 3rd world countries ruled by military generals.
Political observers say she is doing this because she is afraid the voters might threaten her power, and she wants tighter controls over them, and a weaker democracy.
In addition to removing civilian controls over the military, the report also recommends a permanent National Guard presence in Washington, D.C.
These troops would constantly be on watch to make sure conservatives aren’t roaming the streets of D.C. Some have even wondered if they’ll be tasked with enforcing mask mandates.
Many conservatives are outraged about these developments. As the riots of Jan. 6th fade farther into the past, the need for a militarized zone around the Capitol has essentially vanished. And yet the Capitol is still completely walled off, and the military is still occupying it.
The intelligence community has given many false alarms about attacks, such as the suggestion that state Capitols could get attacked on Jan. 20th (in reality only 9 protestors showed up combined in all 50 states), and a report that a massive terrorist attack was being plotted for March 4th (nothing of the sort happened).
These lies by Deep State have caused many members of Congress to question the ongoing military occupation of the Capitol.
Congressman Matt Gaetz, in an appearance on Tucker Carlson, said, “(these commissions) are only really about two things. One, hunting and destroying MAGA. And two, justifying the continued occupation of Washington, D.C.”
Gaetz also questioned the appointment of Gen. Russel Honore as head of the commission, given his long history of radical Leftist statements.
Others, such as Rep. Lauren Boebert, have made this issue a priority as well. Boebert posted a video titled “Madam Speaker, tear down this wall!”
There continues to be heavy pushback against the military takeover of the U.S. government, but with Democrats in charge of all branches of government, it remains to be seen if they will get their way.
