In a stunning sit-down interview with Joe Rogan, Mark Zuckerberg just admitted the unthinkable.
He told Rogan that Facebook actively worked to rig the 2020 presidential election.
And now, Zuckerberg is admitting who gave him the order to censor news about the Hunter Biden laptop story.
Mark Zuckerberg is one of the few people in America who hold responsibility for almost single-handedly altering the outcome of the 2020 presidential election.
That’s because at the height of the Hunter Biden Laptop scandal, when it became apparent that Joe Biden’s son had engaged in multiple illegal ventures and had leveraged his father’s political influence to enrich himself, big tech firms like Facebook worked to censor the story and shut it down.
And now, two years after the election, Facebook’s founder and CEO is admitting who gave the order to censor the news about the laptop to hundreds of millions of Americans.
The Washington Examiner reports, “Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg expressed regret for Facebook’s throttling of the Hunter Biden laptop story in the days leading up to the 2020 election but conditioned that “the process was pretty reasonable.”
Looming over Facebook’s decision to limit the story’s spread was a warning the FBI gave the company about dumps of Russian propaganda on the eve of the election, Zuckerberg explained in an interview with podcast host Joe Rogan released Thursday.”
In the interview, Zuckerberg admitted something which many Americans had long come to believe themselves, that Big Tech firms had done the bidding of the far Left and their water-carrying allies in the mainstream media to censor any news story that would have hurt Joe Biden in the closing weeks of the 2020 presidential campaign.
But now, two years after the election ended, the news finally came out that many of these suspicions turned out to be true all along, despite the fact that such claims were derided as “conspiracy theories” for years.
“The background here is the FBI basically came to us, some folks on our team, and was like, ‘Hey, just so you know, you should be on high alert … we thought there was a lot of Russian propaganda in the 2016 election. We have it on notice that basically, there’s about to be some kind of dump that’s similar to that. So just be vigilant,'” Zuckerberg said to Rogan.
In short, Zuckerberg trotted out the old “Russian collusion” story, which had been thoroughly debunked years ago, to justify taking orders from the FBI to help rig the election in Biden’s favor.
And he plainly admitted that the FBI was the agency that ordered Facebook to censor the Hunter Biden laptop story.
After Zuckerberg’s stunning interview, it is now obvious that Facebook has become a platform that rigs stories in support of Left-wing causes, and punishes stories that would help conservative candidates.
“Zuckerberg also juxtaposed Facebook’s handling of Hunter Biden laptop reporting with its rival Twitter, which blocked users from sharing the New York Post altogether and even briefly froze the news outlet’s Twitter account before relenting,” adds The Washington Examiner.
“Our protocol is different from Twitter’s. What Twitter did is, they said, ‘You can’t share this at all.’ We didn’t do that,” Zuckerberg said. “If something is reported to us as potentially misinformation, important misinformation, we use third-party fact-checking because we don’t want to be deciding what’s true and false.”
