One brave woman has spoken up about Keith Olbermann.
He harassed her and mistreated her, and now he’s paying the price.
His career could be over after this one big scandal.
Keith Olbermann is perhaps the most annoying person in American politics. He’s a smug liberal who insults anyone who disagrees with him.
Unsurprisingly, he comes from the world of sports media, and more specifically ESPN, where liberal views go unchecked and unchallenged.
Olbermann believes anyone with conservative views should be shunned and perhaps imprisoned.
So, naturally, he was stunned when he found out about Riley Gaines. Gaines checks all the demographic boxes of being a liberal, as she is a young Generation Z female, but the opposite is true.
Gaines, who was a superstar swimmer at University of Kentucky, became a staunch conservative activist after Lia Thomas, a biological male who identifies as a female, defeated her in a race.
Now she goes around the country defending women’s sports wherever and however she can, and that infuriates Keith Olbermann, who also has a serious problem with women.
According to Fox News, “Former MSNBC and ESPN host Keith Olbermann got into a war of words with Riley Gaines Thursday, saying the two-time All-SEC first-teamer ‘sucked at swimming.’”
“Gaines was a second-team swimmer in 2019 and 2020 before earning first-team honors her final two years at the University of Kentucky.”
“Gaines’ collegiate resume speaks for itself, but she felt the need to remind Olbermann of her swimming accomplishments anyway.”
“In a video responding to Olbermann’s post, she recorded herself showing off her trophies for several of her accolades, including All-SEC first-team, three SEC titles, a second-place finish nationally, an SEC community service award, an SEC female scholar-athlete of the year and others. She also qualified for the U.S. trials for the Tokyo Olympics.”
Olbermann’s statements were so ridiculous that even former teammates of Lia Thomas, the transgender swimmer, came to Gaines’ defense.
Paula Scanlan, who was a swimmer at University of Pennsylvania, had this to say: “Your political bias blinds you and dismissive views like yours embolden men to change in front of us. Why don’t you address the reality that women’s spaces are being invaded and many women are harmed by this narrative.”
Gaines is clearly correct to defend women and their ability to participate in sports without the interference of men.
The differences between men and women are clear, and if men start invading women’s sports, there will be no more women’s sports at all.
Furthermore, Olbermann was absurd to say that one of the greatest collegiate swimmers of all time “sucked at swimming.” How would Keith Olbermann do in a swimming race against Riley Gaines?
Keith Olbermann has made a clown of himself once again with his abusive insults towards Riley Gaines.
