Democracy is under threat by Joe Biden.
He is trying to guarantee himself the presidency in 2024.
And he just went to the most extreme lengths in order to do it.
Joe Biden is unpopular with the American public. He knows that a strong Republican nominee could easily beat him in the 2024 general election.
After all, he’s going to be 82-years-old next year, and if re-elected, would serve as President up until the unbelievable geriatric age of 86.
In addition, his presidency has been a disaster that includes an out-of-control inflation crisis and Russia pillaging Ukraine.
That’s why his Democrat allies are pulling all the strings they possibly can in order to guarantee Biden a victory in 2024, whether the American people want him or not.
They want him to effectively run unopposed in the general election. And they may have figured out just the way to do it.
They know that, by indicting Donald Trump, it will fire up the right-wing base.
But they also know that by slow-walking the prosecutions so a verdict doesn’t come down until after the primary, they can create a situation where Trump gets convicted after it’s too late to put up another GOP candidate.
In other words, Biden would essentially be running against nobody. His allies are using the power of law enforcement to guarantee him the White House.
According to NPR, “Former President Donald Trump appeared somber and quiet in a Miami courtroom, hands clasped and leaning back in his chair at times, speaking aloud only to utter the words ‘not guilty’ to 37 federal counts stemming from his handling of classified documents.”
The article continues, “There are still two more criminal investigations looming, trials are coming, and Trump continues to be the front-runner for the Republican nomination.”
By pulling this un-American dirty political trick, Biden’s allies are creating a catastrophe in the making for Republicans.
They’re trying to elevate Trump by firing up his base, and then kneecap him with a federal criminal conviction once the general election rolls around.
And there could be more indictments on the way.
The article continues, “Plus, there are still two other criminal investigations — another federal one about Trump’s role on and leading up to Jan. 6 and one in Georgia looking into Trump’s pressure campaign to try and overturn the results of the presidential election in the state.”
Republicans are going to have to figure out how to navigate this. If their nominee gets taken out by a politically charged criminal conviction, and Joe Biden is able to cruise to re-election virtually unopposed, the country may not survive a second term of his horrendous policies.
The priority has to be defeating Joe Biden, taking back the White House, and ending the weaponization of the Justice Department.
And Republicans need to find the candidate who is best able to persuade independents to vote for him and to defeat Biden.
