Joe Biden has overseen a disaster on the world stage.
But nothing comes close to the catastrophe he’s now privately warning his own donors about.
And now, all hell is breaking loose after Biden made one comment about a “nuclear Armageddon.”
Joe Biden has been one of the most incompetent politicians in America’s recent history.
And nothing shows just how bad his leadership has been than on the world stage.
From the disastrous and botched withdraw in Afghanistan which saw American servicemembers die even as the US was trying to pull its troops out of the country, to the Russia invasion of Ukraine, to the disaster in Central and Latin America with record numbers of illegal immigrants pouring across the border, Biden has been a failure in every corner of the world.
But none of these disasters can even hold a candle to one catastrophe that Biden is privately warning his own donors about.
The Associated Press reports, “President Joe Biden’s warning that the world is at risk of a nuclear “Armageddon” was designed to send an unvarnished message that no one should underestimate the extraordinary danger if Russia deploys tactical nuclear weapons in its war against Ukraine, administration officials said Friday.
The president’s grim assessment, delivered during a Democratic fundraiser on Thursday night, rippled around the globe and appeared to edge beyond the boundaries of current U.S. intelligence assessments. U.S. security officials continue to say they have no evidence that Vladimir Putin has imminent plans for a nuclear strike.”
With the war in Ukraine going badly for the Kremlin, it seems more and more likely that Putin could resort to the unthinkable and unleash nuclear weapons in the country.
And it appears Russia is preparing to do the same to the United States and its NATO allies should the proxy war between the two in Ukraine spill over into the rest of Europe.
For months, Russia has used the threat of nuclear war to try and solidify its position in Ukraine.
And now that Russia appears to be losing in the northern parts of the country, Putin has announced the annexation of large chunks of southern Ukraine in order to pave the way for a deployment of Russian nuclear weapons in the region.
“Biden veered into talk about Ukraine at the end of his standard fundraising remarks, saying that Putin was “not joking when he talks about the use of tactical nuclear weapons or biological or chemical weapons,” adds the Associated Press
For his part, Biden himself said “We have not faced the prospect of Armageddon since Kennedy and the Cuban Missile Crisis.”
The fact that he wants to tell his donors this in a closed door fundraiser for his own political party rather than address the American people about the seriousness of the situation is telling.
The correct place to warn people that America faces the greatest risk of nuclear war in 60 years isn’t a political fundraising event.
