This law could end Joe Biden’s presidency.
He could be forced to leave the White House.
And he is in a sheer panic over it.
Joe Biden has a big dilemma on his hands, thanks to the fact that Democrats have a unique coalition of voters they rely on to win elections.
On one hand, some of the most active and engaged voters in the United States are Democrats. Think of the angry feminists and hardcore LGBT activists who have fueled the rise of woke ideology.
These are people who will crawl over broken glass to vote thanks to their many grievances.
On the other hand, the other half of the Democrat coalition are people who are very disengaged voters, namely inner-city voters and young people.
In order to win, Democrats need their entire coalition to show up and vote, including the disengaged voters. That means they have to find a way to reach young people.
TikTok is one of the key ways they’ve been trying to do it, but TikTok is a Chinese spy app and may soon be banned.
This is a major problem for Joe Biden and could cost him the election.
According to Reuters, “If President Joe Biden keeps his promise to sign a bill that could ban TikTok over its ties to the Chinese government, he may rob his reelection campaign of a platform that he and fellow Democrats rely on to reach younger voters.”
“Biden’s campaign got thousands of ‘likes’ on Tuesday for a TikTok video skewering Republican rival Donald Trump about cutting Social Security spending. But the comments were focused on another issue altogether: the proposed ban.”
The proposed TikTok ban is bipartisan, but it stands to hurt Democrats the most as they simply cannot win in 2024 if young left-wingers don’t show up to the polls.
“House Republicans voted Wednesday to force TikTok’s Chinese owner ByteDance to divest the U.S. assets of the short-video app in six months, or face a ban, in the greatest threat to the app since the Trump administration,” the article continues.
“The 2024 election on Nov. 5 is shaping up to be close, and Democratic-leaning U.S. political discourse online has shifted to TikTok in recent years, political strategists said, noting that X, formerly Twitter, has cut back on harassment curbs under owner Elon Musk. Facebook, meanwhile, has moved away from political content, while the short-form video site is the platform of choice for a new generation of politically engaged Americans.”
If this ban becomes law, Joe Biden is in serious political trouble.
He is relying heavily on social media influencers to convince young people to come to the polls and vote Democrat.
TikTok could be the biggest key to Joe Biden’s 2024 presidential re-election campaign and Democrats are extremely worried if it ends up banned.
