Joe Biden is coming after the Second Amendment.
He’s making gun control a top priority for his presidency.
And his latest statements make it clear that he intends to pass gun control as soon as possible.
Joe Biden has long been an enemy of the Second Amendment. He has fought against the Constitutional rights of gun owners for his entire political career.
Now that he is president, he is looking to use his power to make gun control and gun confiscation the law of the land.
If that wasn’t already clear, his comments on the anniversary of Sandy Hook make it plainly obvious what he is trying to do.
According to a report from The Hill, “President Biden on Tuesday urged Congress to act on gun violence prevention in remarks commemorating the ninth anniversary of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting.”
The article continued, “He said the Senate needed to quickly pass three House-passed bills, one to extend background checks, another to keep guns out of the hands of abusers and his Build Back Better act that includes a $5 billion investment in community violence prevention and intervention.”
The Biden administration also bragged about the gun control that they have already implemented.
“The White House unveiled a fact sheet on Tuesday on the work the administration has done to combat gun violence, touting executive orders from the president to reduce the proliferation of ghost guns, which are untraceable guns assembled using parts online; regulate stabilizing braces used on firearms and help states enact red flag legislation, among other things.”
The so-called “fact sheet,” as you can imagine, is a laundry list of the worst imaginable policies for law-abiding gun owners that one can think of.
In particular, the attack on “ghost guns” is a step in the direction of a national gun registry, since it targets guns that are untraceable by the Feds.
“On May 21, the Justice Department’s Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) issued a proposed rule to help stop the proliferation of ‘ghost guns,’ which are unserialized, privately made firearms that are increasingly being recovered at crime scenes and have been identified by law enforcement officials as a serious threat to public safety.”
“Today, criminals are buying kits containing nearly all of the components and directions for finishing a firearm within as little as 30 minutes and using these firearms to commit crimes. When these firearms turn up at crime scenes, they often cannot be traced by law enforcement due to the lack of a serial number – making it harder to catch the criminals behind shootings.”
Of course, lumping law-abiding gun owners who don’t want the Feds tracking their gun purchases in with “criminals” who commit “shooting” and other crimes is a ridiculous insult and pure propaganda.
Americans are not criminals for wanting their gun purchases to be private, nor are they criminals for not wanting to be on a government list just for exercising a Constitutional right.
One thing is for certain – Biden’s war on the Second Amendment will continue, and gun owners need to fight to hang on to their rights.
