Joe Biden can’t run from the truth anymore.
He tried to make up a fake story to hide the amount of damage he is doing to America.
But the truth came out, and now the Biden administration is in big trouble.
Joe Biden has been the worst president for the U.S. economy since Jimmy Carter. The economy is stagnating, inflation is skyrocketing, and the debt is out of control thanks to his insane amounts of federal spending.
He knows the situation is bad, which is why he’s trying to spin it to make it look better than it is. But the American people are catching on.
Biden tried to claim that more than 1 million jobs were created in the second quarter of 2022. However, just this week, the Philadelphia Federal Reserve was forced to admit that those numbers are completely false.
According to the Washington Times, “The Biden administration vastly overstated its estimate that employers created more than 1 million jobs in the second quarter of this year, claiming historic job growth when in fact hiring had stalled, according to a new estimate.”
The article continued, “Job growth was ‘essentially flat’ in the second quarter with only 10,500 jobs added, the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia said.”
Now that the truth is out, people are demanding answers. After all, Biden’s estimate wasn’t just off by a few jobs here and there. It was off by 1 million.
This was either a math error of unimaginable proportions, or it was a bold-faced lie for political purposes.
According to the article, “Republicans are accusing the administration of lying about the employment data in an election year and are demanding answers.”
“The Philadelphia Fed’s new assessment shows that employment numbers in 29 states and the District of Columbia were significantly lower than the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported for the March-through-June period.”
“The BLS, a division of the Department of Labor, estimated net job growth of 1,047,000 jobs in the second quarter. The Philadelphia Fed now says its data shows that 10,500 net jobs were created in that period.”
The fact that this happened in an election year is probably not a coincidence at all. The Biden administration was heavily invested in making sure that Americans believed the economy was on the right track, regardless of the actual truth.
After all, the economy has consistently proven to be a major deciding factor in how Americans vote.
With gas prices soaring throughout 2022, Joe Biden didn’t want Americans to be worried about job losses on top of unaffordable gas prices.
So it appears that his administration fudged the numbers to give Americans a false sense of optimism about the direction the economy was headed.
The Biden administration should not be allowed to recklessly lie to the American public about the economy. People need to be held accountable for this breach of trust.
Hopefully, in the next Congress, the Republican House will launch investigations into how this lie made its way out into the public domain.
