Joe Biden’s war on the Second Amendment is ramping up.
He’s already campaigning on more gun control ahead of the 2024 elections.
And now, one shocking poll shows that Biden has actually helped propel gun ownership to an all-time high.
Joe Biden is turning more and more Americans into first-time gun owners.
Biden has tried for years to enact more gun control, going back to his biggest efforts in 2013 as Vice President.
At the time, Biden attempted to broker a massive gun control package with the help of liberal Democrats in the U.S. Senate as well as multiple RINO Republicans.
But that effort ultimately failed, leaving Biden winless on the issue.
But now a decade later, Biden is once again pushing for more gun control ahead of the 2024 election.
With poll after poll showing Biden losing to Donald Trump and Ron DeSantis alike, Biden’s campaign has calculated that a renewed push for gun control is exactly what the aging Democrat needs to get his base excited again.
But the decision to focus on attacking gun rights seems to be backfiring.
At a time when left-wing radical politicians continue to wage war on the Second Amendment, more and more Americans are deciding to exercise their constitutional rights for the first time.
NBC News reports, “More than half of American voters — 52% — say they or someone in their household owns a gun, per the latest NBC News national poll.
That’s the highest share of voters who say that they or someone in their household owns a gun in the history of the NBC News poll, on a question dating back to 1999.
In 2019, 46% of Americans said that they or someone in their household owned a gun, per an NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll. And in February 2013, that share was 42%.”
For the first time in modern polling history, more than half of all Americans say that someone in their household owns a firearm.
That’s fantastic news for supporters of the Second Amendment, because the more Americans decide to exercise their rights, the harder it will be for liberal Democrats or RINOs alike to take them away.
“This month, 66% of Republican voters surveyed say that they or someone in their household owns a gun, while just 45% of independents and 41% of Democrats say the same.
In 2004, a March NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll found that 57% of Republicans said that they or someone in their household owned a gun, while just 41% of independents and 33% of Democrats said the same.
White voters tend to own guns at higher rates than Black or Latino voters, but gun ownership rates among Black voters have jumped in recent years,” adds NBC News.
These statistics regarding gun ownership comes at a time when Democrats are preparing to launch an all-out assault on gun rights in state capitals across the country, from Virginia to Michigan.
This huge uptick in gun owners could ultimately play a pivotal role in deciding the 2024 election, leaving Biden’s political future even more uncertain.
