Elon Musk has drawn fire from the Left for his refusal to bow down to wokeism.
But after a series of tweets revealing exactly who he was planning on voting for in November, things went from heated to chaotic.
And now, the Left is in full panic mode after Musk publicly torched Biden in a major way.
Elon Musk used to identify as a Democrat, according to his own admission.
But in a tweet which earned hundreds of thousands of likes, Musk revealed that he intends to oppose the Democrats in November.
That tweet was also backed up by a recent podcast performance where Musk reiterated his intentions to vote for the GOP as a protest against the direction the Democrats have gone towards under Joe Biden.
The Hill reports, “Tesla CEO Elon Musk said in a podcast episode on Monday that he would be voting for Republicans in the upcoming November midterm elections after “overwhelmingly” voting for Democrats in the past.”
“You know, the reality is that Twitter at this point, you know, has a very far-left bias, and I would classify myself as a moderate, neither a Republican nor Democrat,” Musk said on the “All-In” podcast published Monday during a tech conference in Miami.
“And in fact, I have voted overwhelmingly for Democrats, historically, overwhelmingly. Like, I’m not sure — I might never have voted for a Republican, just to be clear. Now this election I will.”
The reasons for Musk’s political about-face can be chalked up to the growing ideology of wokeism within the Democratic Party, and the dominance of unions.
Musk particularly singled out unions and trial lawyers for controlling the party and driving it in a direction that benefits them personally, rather than the constituencies Democrats claim to help.
These comments were soon followed up by a tweet revealing his plans in November to the rest of the world.
“In the past I voted Democrat, because they were (mostly) the kindness party. But they have become the party of division & hate, so I can no longer support them and will vote Republican. Now, watch their dirty tricks campaign against me unfold … ,” Musk tweeted.

The revelation that Elon intends to vote against the Democrats sent shockwaves across the political spectrum. For years, some of the richest and most powerful men in the world have overwhelmingly supported Democrats in virtually all national elections. This has included the likes of Jeff Bezos, Bill Gates, and Mark Zuckerberg.
Elon’s attacks against the radical far-Left and their allies within the Democratic Party represent one of the first major public figures coming out against the direction the party has taken.
His decision was also met with cheers by some prominent Republican officeholders.
“[email protected] he will be voting Republican for the first time in his life the next time he votes. Elon is not alone. It’s nearly impossible to stand by and vote for today’s radical Democrat Party. Welcome, Elon!” tweeted Republican Congresswoman Lauren Boebert of Colorado.
