One threat caught Elon Musk’s attention.
Now he must decide what to do about it.
All eyes are on Elon Musk as the world awaits to see what happens next.
The Elon Musk vs. Mark Zuckerberg fight is going to be the event of the year.
Zuckerberg is famous for training in jiu jitsu and has competed in tournaments.
He’s confident he could beat Musk in a fight and he’s not being shy about it on social media either.
He fired off a threatening message on the platform ‘Threads’ – which is Meta’s attempt at a competitor to Twitter/X – saying, “I’m ready today. I suggested Aug 26 when he first challenged, but he hasn’t confirmed. Not holding my breath.”
But being scared isn’t in Elon Musk’s DNA. He made a bold move in acquiring Twitter, even though the establishment, the media, and the federal government opposed him.
Musk’s original tweet, which Zuckerberg responded to, made his intentions clear: “Am lifting weights throughout the day, preparing for the fight. Don’t have time to work out, so I just bring them to work.”
He’s not backing down, despite Zuckerberg’s attempts at intimidation. Plus, it was Musk who challenged Zuckerberg to a fight in the first place.
And another interesting interaction occurred between Musk and Zuckerberg surrounding the fight.
CBS News reports, “Two of the world’s most famous and polarizing tech billionaires are again saying they will go head-to-head in a fight. Elon Musk, who owns the site formerly known as Twitter, now rebranded as X, and Mark Zuckerberg, the head of Facebook and Instagram parent company Meta, took to their social media platforms to share details about the potential face-off.”
“Zuck v Musk fight will be live-streamed on X. All proceeds will go to charity for veterans,” said Musk.
In response, Zuckerberg threw even more shade at Musk, saying, “Shouldn’t we use a more reliable platform that can actually raise money for charity?”
The article continues, “After the two shared new details about the supposed fight, an X user wrote out some stats about each, saying 39-year-old Zuckerberg is shorter and weighs less than Musk, but has a blue belt in Jiu-Jitsu, while the 51-year-old Musk is 6’2″ and reportedly 187 lbs., to which Musk replied: ‘I weigh at least 300 lbs.’”
Musk and Zuckerberg will continue to flex at each other in the lead-up to this fight, making it all the more dramatic and exciting.
It will be a highly anticipated event, with people on the left rooting for Zuckerberg and people on the right rooting for Musk.
And if Musk really does give the proceeds to veterans, it will all be for a good cause, regardless of who wins.
