America is getting hit from all sides.
Donald Trump’s biggest enemy is working to destroy our country.
And now America’s sovereignty is at risk.
One of Donald Trump’s key changes during his first term was shifting America’s foreign policy focus away from Russia and towards China.
Generations of foreign policy operatives in the U.S. spent their careers combatting Russia during the Cold War before the fall of the Soviet Union.
Now decades later, China – which has returned to its communist roots under Xi Jinping – is America’s biggest threat.
Trump knows this and it’s why he placed high tariffs on all imports from China.
In response, China hit back and the country announced they too will be putting tariffs on all U.S. imports.
According to Reuters, “U.S. President Donald Trump said on Tuesday he is in no hurry to speak to Chinese President Xi Jinping to try to defuse a new trade war between the world’s two largest economies sparked by his sweeping 10% tariffs on all Chinese imports.”
“China imposed targeted tariffs on U.S. imports on Tuesday and put several companies, including Google, on notice for possible sanctions, in a measured response to Trump’s tariffs.”
The article continues, “A conversation between Xi and Trump is seen as key to a potential easing or delay of tariffs, as conversations with Mexican and Canadian leaders did on Monday.”
“White House spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt told reporters that a Trump-Xi call still needed to be scheduled.”
“Beijing’s limited reply to Trump’s imposition of a 10% tariff on all Chinese imports underscored the attempt by Chinese policymakers to engage Trump in talks to avert an outright trade war between the world’s two largest economies.”
Their response may have been “limited” but it’s still an attack on U.S. economic interests.
The Chinese Communist Party should vow never to invade Taiwan, stop exporting tyrannical communism to other countries by economic force, imprisoning ethnic minorities in deadly concentration camps, and respect U.S.foreign interests.
Trump would prefer to put China in their place through economic means rather than resorting to military action which would be horrific – not just for the U.S., but for the whole world.
