Joe Biden has declared war on not only the Constitution, but the founding principles of America.
And his latest target is promoting the idea that the United States is racist to its core.
Now, Biden is under fire for directing taxpayer dollars to teach the far-Left’s Critical Race Theory.
Slowly but surely, Joe Biden is erasing as many of President Trump’s achievements as possible.
But one notable reform under the Trump administration that has quietly been scrapped by Biden is the former President’s executive order to ban the teaching of Critical Race Theory at the Federal level.
Trump banned the practice last year in response to growing calls from the Left to teach new generations of Americans that the United States is and always has been an inherently racist nation dominated by white supremacy.
Calling the practice un-American and inherently racist itself, Trump moved to ban any attempts to promote this ideology, which a Marxist social philosophy dating back to the 1970s called Critical Theory.
Critical Race Theory is the latest continuation of this far-Left view of the world, which replaces individual responsibility with collective responsibility, and accuses entire generations and even whole nations of being racist to their core.
Now, Biden is working to not only rescind all of Trump’s efforts to block the teaching of Critical Race Theory, but the new President is actively working to promote it.
The Washington Examiner reports, “Biden’s Education Department this week proposed introducing two new priorities for funding covering American history and civics education programs and activities. The first strives to elevate projects that “incorporate racially, ethnically, culturally, and linguistically diverse perspectives” into their syllabi, while the other aims to improve “information literacy.””
In a statement blasting the decision, former Kansas Republican Congressman Tim Huelskamp described the rule as “nothing more than an attempt to misuse hard-earned taxpayer dollars to indoctrinate America’s children with even more anti-American nonsense.”
Huelskamp had served on the House Education Committee during his time in Congress.
“The Education Department’s proposed rule could apply to American history and civics education programs and activities, including the presidential and congressional academies, as soon as this fiscal year. The public comment period closes May 19,” adds the Washington Examiner.
“The first priority is supposed to underscore how history and civics education can convey “the vital role of diversity in our nation’s democracy” to the next generation, according to the pitched language. That encompasses “the consequences of slavery” and “the significant contributions of black Americans to our society.””
The decision comes at a time when public backlash against the Marxist approach is reaching a fever pitch.
Last year, roughly 60% of voters in deep blue California voted against a constitutional amendment that would have legalized discrimination based on race for the purposes of college admissions and hiring for government departments and agencies.
Perhaps even worse for Biden’s agenda, recent polls show that roughly 75% of Americans oppose using race as a measure for weighing college applications for admission.
“The end result is not likely to be a Marxist revolution, but rather, solid Republican gains across America in 2021 and 2022.” concluded Huelskamp.
