Another corporation has betrayed their conservative customers.
Cracker Barrel gave up on regular Americans by trying to appeal to the left.
And now their business is tanking.
Businesses whose primary consumer base consists of conservative Americans with traditional values should take into account the lesson of Bud Light and what happens when you go woke.
Bud Light is a beer that’s been majorly consumed by middle, blue-collar America for generations.
But once they decided to promote the trans agenda, Red America suddenly noticed just how tasteless and watered-down Bud Light actually is and took their business elsewhere.
Now Bud Light doesn’t have a leg to stand on and their business is falling apart.
Cracker Barrel is another company that primarily appeals to traditional, patriotic Americans.
However, as the American Family Association reports:
“Historically known for its antique décor, Southern country-themed menu and affordable prices, Cracker Barrel Old Country Store has traded its once family-friendly charm for the promotion and celebration of LGBTQ Pride Month.”
Even their rockers in front of their store were rainbow-colored.
And now their customers are also leaving in droves.
The report continues, “Over the past few years, as Cracker Barrel has focused on promoting unpopular social ideals, some customers have remarked that the quality of its food and service has taken a back seat. Customer Matt H. posted on his Facebook page, ‘I will never be back to Cracker Barrel. Their food was starting to get bad. Not what it used to be. Sorry Cracker Barrel, you won’t be getting any more of my money.’”
They even attacked the popular TV series “Duck Dynasty” for being too conservative.
“If you remember, it was Cracker Barrel who pulled the Duck Dynasty products from its shelves when patriarch Phil Robertson took a biblical stand on sexuality. However, the backlash was so strong, the restaurant chain reversed its decision and put the items back out.”
Whatever one’s views may be on LGBT issues, there’s no question that a restaurant like Cracker Barrel should be remaining neutral on it.
To insult some of your most loyal consumers by going woke is the worst thing a business can do if they want to survive.
Now Cracker Barrel is paying the price and they’ll need to reverse course soon if they don’t want to end up like Bud Light.
