America’s most iconic Christian company has surrendered to the radical left.
Chick-fil-A has adopted the woke agenda.
And now their business is in big trouble as conservatives are finding out the truth.
Chick-fil-A has built their entire brand around being a Christian company that is friendly to conservative causes.
They are closed on Sunday in observation of the Lord’s Day and have historically catered their business towards patriotic Americans who uphold traditional values.
But that’s changed in recent years, and the truth just got exposed.
Chick-fil-A has given in to the woke agenda, and the whole world is finding out.
In today’s current woke society, corporations will hire expensive PR agencies to keep them from getting in trouble with the liberal press.
These agencies often tell their clients, “Do whatever the left tells you to do, and don’t ask questions.”
In the case of Chick-fil-A, they should have ignored that advice. After all, their customer base largely consists of conservative Christians who are not woke.
But they foolishly listened to their woke PR consultants, and have now implemented Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) into their business model.
According to the New York Post, “Chick-Fil-A, the chicken sandwich chain long beloved by conservatives for its longstanding opposition to same-sex marriage, is sparking boycott calls after announcing that it has hired an executive in charge of diversity, equity, and inclusion.”
“The Atlanta-based company named Erick McReynolds to the post of vice president of DEI two years ago, but social media users took note of it in recent days – igniting angry denunciations on Twitter from conservatives who allege that the firm has ‘gone woke.’”
DEI is a pernicious ideology that essentially advocates for favoring one race, gender, or sexual orientation over another in pursuit of “equity.”
Of course, companies should never favor one race over another while hiring. They should hire the best person for the job regardless of whether they are white, black, Asian, Indian, Native American, or anything else.
But progressives no longer believe in that ideal.
The article continues, “Corporate America’s embrace of DEI, which seeks to diversify workforces, has been criticized by conservatives who claim that it is discriminatory based on race and gender.”
It seems that Chick-Fil-A is going to have to learn the hard way what happens when they get on the wrong side of their customers.
Chick-fil-A has made a grave miscalculation and may soon see the same outcome as Bud Light.
