Kamala Harris is already coming under heavy fire.
She has only been the presumptive nominee for a short time.
But there’s already an effort underway to force her out.
The heat is about to get turned up on Kamala Harris as she is now the presumptive Democrat nominee for President.
This means she will be one of the most scrutinized people in the world, thanks to her newfound prominence.
She certainly had the spotlight on her as Vice President, but now that she is one of the two major party nominees for President, it is going to be like nothing she has ever experienced.
Harris is getting a taste of that with a new impeachment effort launched by a Republican in the House of Representatives.
He is attempting to remove her from office over the many mistakes she’s made during her time as Vice President.
And while the effort is unlikely to succeed, it is a foreshadowing of the rough road ahead is for Kamala Harris.
According to Forbes, “Rep. Andy Ogles, R-Tenn., introduced a resolution calling to impeach Harris for high crimes and misdemeanors, arguing that during her term as vice president, Harris ‘has demonstrated extraordinary incompetence in the execution of her duties and responsibilities.’”
“Specifically, Ogles claims Harris has exhibited a ‘stark refusal to uphold the existing immigration laws’ and a ‘palpable indifference to people of the United States suffering as a result of the ongoing southern border crisis.’”
Ogles is not wrong. Kamala has totally abandoned her duty to enforce laws at the border, which has led to the immigration crisis we are seeing today.
While Republican leadership in the House may not want to take this up as an impeachment issue like Rep. Ogles does, it is definitely something the American people should be aware of.
The article continues, “Since launching her White House bid following Biden’s departure from the race on Sunday, Harris has faced a flurry of GOP criticism over her handling of a surge of migrants at the southern border—a major Republican rallying cry against the Biden administration and a situation Harris was tasked with addressing at the outset of Biden’s presidential term.”
“Among those attacks is a potential floor vote led by Republican Conference Chair Elise Stefanik, R-N.Y., to condemn Harris over her handling of the U.S.-Mexico border, though with the Senate still in Democratic control, it’s unlikely even a House-passed impeachment would be confirmed by the Senate.”
It’s clear that Republican leaders are committed to telling the American people about the mistakes Harris has made in her feeble effort to secure the border.
It is unclear whether Harris and the rest of the Biden administration are actually committed to stopping illegal immigration, and many believe they are not.
This puts them vastly out of step with the American people, and it could turn out to be a serious problem for them in the election.
