Bill O’Reilly has been through many presidential administrations.
He has seen it all by now.
And he had one huge prediction about what will take place during Trump’s presidency.
Donald Trump will be taking office in mid-January and the question on everyone’s mind is what will his second term look like.
With the nominations he’s made for key cabinet positions, it already seems things might go a bit differently than in the past.
Some people are worried about how Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. or Tulsi Gabbard will govern.
But Bill O’Reilly is making a prediction and he says that Trump will serve as the ultimate boss.
According to The Hill, “Former Fox News host Bill O’Reilly says President-elect Trump is preparing to radically reshape his potential second administration by centralizing policy-making power within the White House and selecting Cabinet members who will strictly follow directives.”
“During a Wednesday interview on NewsNation’s ‘CUOMO,’ the political commentator compared Trump’s approach to President Franklin D. Roosevelt’s leadership style, suggesting the president-elect will create a tightly controlled governing structure where Cabinet members serve primarily as executors of his policy.”
Whether this makes people feel better or worse will depend on their view of Trump and their view of the people he has nominated.
The article continues, “O’Reilly contrasted this approach with previous Republican administrations, such as those of former Presidents George W. Bush and Ronald Reagan, where Cabinet members wielded significant policy influence.”
“He also drew a parallel to President Biden’s administration, suggesting similar centralized control.”
It’s clear Trump intends to run a much tighter ship than he did the first time where his administration was often plagued by infighting and leaking among the people he hired.
Trump is nominating close allies whom he believes he can trust to pursue the same goals as him.
A more unified cabinet will be good news for Trump supporters who want to see things get done instead of just watching people bicker.
