Bill Maher is a notorious left-wing TV personality.
But lately, the Left has been eating its own, and Maher is no exception.
And now, he just defended DeSantis in a way that no one saw coming.
Bill Maher spent the better part of 20 years being one of the leading voices of the Left on television.
He has routinely attacked, ridiculed, and targeted conservatives on his TV show.
But over the past few years, the Left has begun turning on him, and he in turn has begun leveling more and more attacks on the Left in return.
Now, things appear to be coming to a head, as Maher went out of his way to defend Ron DeSantis on a fight that no one could have possibly predicted just a few years ago.
After the Florida Legislature pushed for a bill that would ban the teaching of Left-wing ideologies in schools, especially related to sex and gender for kindergarten through 3rd grade, Maher defended DeSantis’ approach to taking on the Left-wing’s gender ideology head on.
“I guess it’s a reaction to Republicans who feel that there’s too much talk in lower grades — I think it’s only, they’re talking about kindergarten to third grade – so we’re talking about very young kids who, you know, as always with this stuff, you know, it’s not like there’s no kernel of truth in that maybe kids that young shouldn’t be thinking about sex at all. It’s not like you’re not allowed to literally not say gay, but they just don’t want teachers talking about it. They think it’s the province of parents,” Maher said.
He of course had to try and tip toe around saying the obvious out of fear of alienating his own panel members and Left-wing audience, but Maher simply said something that the vast majority of Americans believes to be true, that children as young as 7 or 8 years old should not be learning about transgenderism from their teachers.
There are some issues which remain the prevue of parents, no matter how much the Left tries to claim that children no longer belong to their mothers or fathers.
And this fight in Florida isn’t isolated.
In states across the country, the Left is fighting to impose its ideology in schools by indoctrinating young children with a specific view on issues related to race, gender, or sexuality.
And when parents speak out against this, they’re often labeled as racists, sexist, bigots by the Left in turn.
Now, parents have had enough.
Just a brief glance of last year’s elections in Virginia, where Republicans swamped Democrats for the first time in a dozen years, is enough proof to demonstrate that there is an ongoing revolt by voters across the country against the Left’s designs for their children.
Things have gotten to the point where even traditionally Left-wing personalities like Bill Maher are being attacked by the Left itself for even being apprehensive about indoctrinating children in schools.
But as the Left continues to eat its own, more and more Americans are waking up and realizing what they are trying to do with the public education system.
