One of Joe Biden’s secretaries did something unspeakable with a Chinese Communist official.
The Chinese Communist Party was thrilled about it.
But Americans reacted in horror as Joe Biden’s secretary did one terrible thing on a trip to China.
It appears the Biden administration is getting far too cozy with China with the recent trip made by Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen.
According to Fox News, “U.S. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen made an unusual gesture Saturday when she bowed to a Chinese official during her visit to Beijing.”
“Footage shows Yellen approaching Vice Premier He Lifeng – her Chinese counterpart – and bowing multiple times while enthusiastically shaking his hand.”
This is something you would never expect to see from a United States official. China is our top global adversary and a communist government to boot. Bowing to them is the last thing Americans should be doing.
But this is a trend within the Biden administration.
Hunter Biden had shady business dealings in China and Joe Biden has ignored China’s threatening actions by focusing almost entirely on Russia.
Biden’s obsession with Russia is convenient. Russia, of course, is run by an awful dictator, but it’s also an easy distraction from the much more potent threat in the Pacific.
And Yellen’s recent trip to China turned out to be great optics for the tyrannical government.
The Fox News article continued: “Former White House staffer Bradley Blakeman, who served during President George W. Bush’s administration, told the New York Post that the gesture was unseemly.”
“Never, ever, ever…an American official does not bow. It looks like she’s been summoned to the principal’s office, and that’s exactly the optics the Chinese love,” Blakeman said.
“Some Twitter users shared the same sentiment, calling the bow embarrassing for the United States.”
“She did not realize bowing as an American official was a breach of protocol,” author Max Murray wrote on Twitter. “They don’t reciprocate. He even backs away to give her more space to kowtow.”
“Yellen’s flubs in China are not going to help the US stock market come Monday morning. Come home Janet!” “Taxifornia” author James V. Lacy wrote on Twitter.
Janet Yellen clearly made a big mistake bowing to a Chinese Communist official in Beijing.
As a diehard globalist, Yellen seems to admire their regime, and is apparently content allowing them to dominate the world.
This is yet another example of the Biden administration’s refusal to deal with China.
Biden and the Democrats simply have too many shady financial ties at risk.
