Joe Biden’s FBI is on a mission to target conservatives.
And after one major trial, they just hit a giant brick wall.
Now, the FBI is reeling after their attempts to set up one group of Americans backfired in a major way.
Joe Biden’s FBI has been staging all sorts of attempts to entrap Americans in acts of “extremism” that they themselves have nothing to do with.
Things have gotten so out of hand that the FBI itself is now effectively setting up bogus “right wing plots” against liberal politicians in order to try and set up conservatives and blame them for supposed “domestic terrorism plots” that they themselves have nothing to do with.
And now, the FBI just had their entire operation blow up in their faces after one massive trial ended in complete disaster for the government agency.
The Detroit News reports, “Jurors acquitted two men Friday accused of plotting to kidnap Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer and deadlocked on charges against the two alleged ringleaders, delivering a staggering blow to the government in one of the largest domestic terrorism cases in recent U.S. history.”
“Chief U.S. District Robert Jonker declared a mistrial on kidnapping conspiracy charges against accused ringleaders Adam Fox, 38, of Potterville, and Barry Croft, 46, of Delaware. Accused plotters Daniel Harris, 24, of Lake Orion, and Brandon Caserta, 34, of Canton Township, were being freed Friday afternoon after nearly two years behind bars.”
This was supposed to be the domestic terrorist trial of the century, but instead of being able to throw several Americans behind bars for years (if not for a lifetime), the FBI walked away with nothing to show for it.
It used to be that when the Federal government claimed something happened, that would be the end of the discussion.
And now, the FBI’s word is starting to lose its prominence after years of scandal and blatant political favoritism towards the Left.
In short, the jury in this trial effectively ruled that the FBI led an operation to entrap the defendants and that the Whitmer ‘kidnapping’ charges were essentially a plot orchestrated by the Federal government itself.
“Defense lawyers spent months raising questions about FBI agent conduct and claiming that a team of investigators and informants orchestrated the conspiracy and entrapped the four men, a ragtag band of social outcasts who harbored antigovernment views and anger over restrictions imposed by Whitmer.”
The consequences of this trial will be felt for years to come, as the power of the Federal government to entrap Americans and then throw them in prison for a crime they didn’t even commit has been severely curtailed.
“To me, this was a signal. A rogue FBI agent trying to line his own pockets with his own cybersecurity company and then pushing the conspiracy that just never was,” Caserta’s lawyer Michael Hills said to reporters after the trial. “Never was, never was going to be. Our governor was never in any danger.”
