Biden’s mind is starting to slip.
And his staff is panicking about it.
Now, one embarrassing mistake by Joe Biden is causing a firestorm in D.C.
Joe Biden’s cognitive decline has been evident since he entered the presidential race in 2019.
Back then, even Democrats were willing to talk about it. Primary opponents like Cory Booker made allusions to his declining cognitive ability during debates.
But now, it’s taboo to even bring up what everyone watching knows – that something’s up with Joe.
However, this problem might be getting too big to ignore. And at the recent G7 summit, Joe Biden made noticeable errors that have led many to believe he’s not capable of functionally running the country.
For one, Biden confused the countries of Libya and Syria multiple times. In a speech at the summit, he got the two countries confused three times, and never seemed to realize his mistake.
This could be a major problem in global politics. Biden is currently fighting an illegal and unconstitutional war in Syria. What if instead of dropping bombs on Syria, he accidentally gave the command to drop bombs on Libya instead because he forgot the names of the countries?
It could be a disaster for U.S. foreign relations.
In addition, Biden at one point at the summit seemed to get lost and wander into a random café. He clearly had no idea where he was or where he was going and seemed to be in a sort of daze.
His wife, Jill Biden, quickly came to the rescue and led him away as onlookers laughed.
None of this is good for U.S. diplomacy. The American president has to be seen as capable and competent, not someone who is constantly forgetting important things and wandering around aimlessly.
What would happen if Biden accidentally wandered away from the White House down Pennsylvania Ave. and got lost?
Biden is the oldest President of all time, and it’s not even close. Trump, the previous oldest president to be inaugurated, was 70 years old at the time — a full 7 years younger than Biden.
Biden’s age has showed multiple times, including during the presidential debates.
At one point, he went off on a tangent about parents and children and record players that no one quite understood.
“It’s not that they don’t want to help, it’s that they don’t know quite what to do. Play the radio, make sure the television, excuse me, make sure you have the record player on at night, the phone, make sure that kids hear words.”
He seemed not to grasp the fact that most children today do not listen to record players.
At another point, during a campaign rally, Biden forgot the most famous passage of the Declaration of Independence.
“We hold these truths to be self-evident. All men are created by the, go, the, you know the, you know the thing.”
But now that these issues have cropped up on the world stage at the G7, people are starting to get concerned. And we will find out soon how this impacts America’s standing in the world.
