Apparently Bernie Sanders’ socialist agenda doesn’t apply to himself.
He’s using his extreme agenda to enrich himself at the expense of others.
And now his scheme to profit off of socialism has been revealed.
Socialists claim to hate rich people. It’s the core of their whole belief system, a seething resentment towards those who are successful.
Of course, that’s a toxic way to look at the world. Hating someone out of jealousy for what they have is a horrible way to live your life.
But for most socialists, that’s what motivates them. Their whole political agenda is based around tearing down those who have been successful and taking their resources.
But in the case of Bernie Sanders, he apparently is just pretending to feel that way. In fact, he is whipping up the anger and hatred of his fans towards rich people, and then profiting off of it himself.
Bernie Sanders has made an extremely lucrative career from stoking hatred among his fans and then taking their money.
He thought he could quietly rake in the cash without anyone noticing, but now it has been exposed, and it doesn’t look good for Bernie.
According to Fox News, “Progressive Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders nearly doubled his yearly income last year by selling a book that decried the principles of capitalism.
“The latest round of financial disclosure forms from the Vermont senator, first reported by Business Insider and obtained by Fox News Digital, show $170,000 in royalties last year from Penguin Random House for his book ‘It’s OK to Be Angry About Capitalism.’”
That is a hilarious title for a book that made Bernie Sanders rich. It’s clear that Bernie isn’t “angry about capitalism.” He’s taking full advantage of it.
Of course, there’s nothing inherently wrong with Bernie Sanders getting rich. If someone produces a good or service that is valuable to a large number of people, they deserve the profits from that. Capitalism is a good system.
But what’s shady about Bernie’s get-rich-quick scheme is that he is lying to the readers of his book, pretending to be a socialist warrior but then enriching himself.
This has been part of Sanders’ M.O. for a while now. The article continues, “Sanders faced pushback earlier this year for embarking on a tour promoting the book with events that charged guests almost $100 to attend.
“Sanders claimed at the time he had ‘nothing to do’ with those prices and said he was ‘not particularly’ happy about the situation but acknowledged he has to ‘operate within the system’ of selling a book.”
Why does he have to operate within the system of selling a book? He is a socialist. Doesn’t he think “selling” is wrong? Doesn’t he think everything should be given freely by the government?
If Bernie Sanders really believed in what he was preaching, he would live on the most basic-level income possible and give proceeds from the book towards the socialist revolution.
But instead, he’s keeping the money for himself. Even America’s most famous socialist knows that socialism is a ridiculous system.
