Hillary Clinton offered one terrifying thing to Kamala Harris.
People are very concerned about what Clinton just proposed.
And now all eyes are on Kamala Harris to see if she accepts this deal.
Hillary Clinton is still craving political power, even 8 years after she lost the election to Donald Trump and 16 years after she lost to Barack Obama.
Her entire adult life has been a mission to achieve the highest ranks of power, and she apparently will not be satisfied until she does.
She almost certainly knows at this point that she will not be president, but at the very least, she wants to be in the ear of the president.
With Biden that is not the case, as Biden is a long-time politician just like her and has his own inner circle who advises him.
But Kamala Harris is a blank slate that Hillary Clinton knows she could mold in her image if she were given the chance.
That’s why Clinton is now offering to serve in Harris’s administration and is waiting with bated breath to see if she takes the deal.
According to Breitbart, “Former First Lady Hillary Clinton suggested she would be open to accepting an official position in a potential Harris administration, drawing jeers from Republicans who mocked her willingness to unretire.”
“During an interview with CBS News, reporter Erin Moriarty asked Clinton if she wanted to work in a potential Harris administration, either officially or unofficially.”
Here is what Clinton said: “Well, certainly, unofficially, I want to be as helpful as I can and would do anything I was asked to be helpful. We have so much to do that it really should be all hands on deck. And anybody who can help in any capacity should be willing to do so.”
She makes it clear in her answer that she plans on trying to influence Harris “unofficially” no matter what, but that if she was “asked” to serve in an official position she would.
Reading between the lines, the most plausible thing seems to be that Clinton wants to be the power behind the throne if Harris wins in November.
The article continues, “Republican strategist Matt Whitlock suggested that Clinton’s interview during her ongoing book tour might benefit Republicans’ chances of defeating Harris.”
Whitlock is likely correct about this, as Clinton is one of the most unpopular politicians in recent American history and not someone voters want anywhere near the White House.
It’s a bit scary to think about how she could potentially influence Harris, especially after she recently called for criminal penalties for people who post things online that she doesn’t like.
Clinton’s views in recent years have become very extreme and authoritarian, and she seems eager to push Harris in that direction if she does indeed win the election.
Hopefully Harris will say “thanks but no thanks” to this offer from Hillary Clinton and pick a more reasonable set of people if she ends up being the 47th president.
