Kevin McCarthy is in serious danger.
Adam Schiff is a menace who is capable of doing anything to benefit himself.
And the threat he just made to Kevin McCarthy will make your blood run cold.
The left desperately wants to get rid of Kevin McCarthy as Speaker of the House and seize control for themselves again.
And Adam Schiff, the lying Congressman who is running for Senate in California, is as desperate as ever to prove himself to liberal voters.
And now he’s signaling that he will go to extreme lengths to stick it to Kevin McCarthy and the Republicans, even going so far as to shut down the government.
There is an October 1st deadline to fund the federal government and McCarthy is backing a short-term deal to avoid shutdown.
But Schiff doesn’t want to play nice and intends to stonewall anything McCarthy puts forward.
Of course, he’s setting it up in a way that blames the Republicans, but make no mistake, Schiff and his colleagues will be responsible if it does happen.
According to the Denver Gazette, “Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) predicted the United States federal government will shut down next month due to GOP hardliners.”
“House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA), who had to capitulate to the far Right portion of their caucus to ensure he received the speaker’s gavel, is facing a similar situation where the House Freedom Caucus can exert their power in numbers, though the California Republican has urged his colleagues to back a short-term spending deal to avoid an Oct. 1 shutdown, according to CNN.”
“McCarthy’s fellow California representative Schiff, with whom he has frequently butted heads, told former Biden White House press secretary Jen Psaki on MSNBC’s Inside with Jen Psaki on Sunday, ‘I fear that we are on a path to government shutdown because there are enough members of the Republican conference who want it and Kevin McCarthy will do whatever it takes to remain speaker one more day or one more week. That’s his sole motivation.’”
Of course, those statements contradict each other. McCarthy wants a short-term spending deal and Schiff is the one predicting a shutdown.
If Schiff and the Democrats signed on to what McCarthy wants, a shutdown wouldn’t happen.
Given the debt crisis that the federal government is in, maybe it wouldn’t be such a bad thing if the federal government did shut down.
But Schiff’s motives here are far from pure. He wants power. He wants Democrats to take back the House and implement their entire radical agenda.
And he thinks if the federal government shuts down, it will help his plan.
Adam Schiff is leveling a dangerous threat against Kevin McCarthy and it could have a massive impact on the upcoming elections.
