Pressure is growing on Adam Schiff to step down after this latest news that just came out.
Even the liberal media is demanding he leave office.
Adam Schiff is hanging his head in shame after the Washington Post asked him to step down.
Progressive politicians like Adam Schiff have used radical left-wing activists to further their own political careers, but it’s coming back to bite them now.
Schiff is running for Senate and hopes to have the support of the most rabid and woke voters.
He knows he needs those people to get elected in California, one of the most progressive states in the entire country.
But those activists are turning on Schiff, and they are doing it for the most predictable reason of all time – because he is a straight white male.
Now Schiff is left with no way out. He’s chosen to give up his seat in the House in order to run for the Senate seat. So if he loses this race, he’s out altogether.
And woke activists are doing everything they can to make that happen.
According to Fox News, “Democratic Reps. Katie Porter and Adam Schiff have already thrown their hat in the ring in the Senate race to fill the late U.S. Sen. Dianne Feinstein’s seat. But author and podcast host Steve Phillips urged them to step aside and allow U.S. Rep. Barbara Lee, D-Calif. a Black woman, to take the lead instead, to prove they ‘care about diversity.’”
Here’s what Phillips had to say: “Time and again it has been shown that Black women are the heart and soul of the Democratic Party. Democrats across the country agree that Black women are badly underrepresented in our nation’s leadership. Schiff and Porter are White; Lee is a Black woman. The right course is clear, isn’t it?”
The Fox News article continues, “The White Democrats could show their ‘courage’ and commitment to the party’s principles if they dropped out, he argued.”
“Phillips said it was a ‘moral imperative’ for Lee to win the Senate seat, citing the scarcity of Black females in the Senate throughout U.S. history. But the writer said electing Lee would have other benefits too, besides making the upper chamber more racially diverse.”
One might be inclined to feel bad for Schiff, and his other leading opponent, Rep. Katie Porter, after this ridiculous demand was made of them.
But Schiff and Porter chose to align themselves with radical progressive activists who are obsessed with race and gender.
When you tie yourself to such toxic people with illogical views, it shouldn’t be a surprise when you suffer the consequences for it.
Schiff may be finished in this Senate race. Woke activists like Steve Phillips certainly hope he is, because of the color of his skin.
