There are a lot of people who want to do harm to Donald Trump.
This has been made painfully obvious after two serious attempts on his life.
Now one Senator is exposing some scary information about Trump’s physical safety.
America was stunned back in July when a shooter drove up to Butler, Pa., perched himself on a rooftop, and fired shots at Donald Trump, striking him in the ear.
An assassination attempt on a current or former president hadn’t happened since Ronald Reagan’s first term, a time when many Trump supporters either weren’t born or were too young to remember.
It was a harrowing moment for America, and the painful memories of it were dredged up once again when the news broke that yet another man had tried to kill Trump at his golf course.
That’s not even the end of it, as other news reports have stated that Iran is actively planning to assassinate Trump and has even sent agents to the U.S. for this exact purpose.
Now, one U.S. Senator is sounding the alarm that the Secret Service is still refusing to give Trump full security, even after everything that has taken place.
According to Breitbart, “Tuesday on FNC’s ‘Hannity,’ Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO), a member of the Senate Homeland Security Committee, said despite two assassination attempts, the Secret Service was still denying former President Donald Trump, the GOP presidential nominee, a full-level of protection.”
“According to the Missouri Republican, the Secret Service was attempting to conceal this shortcoming.”
Considering the sheer number of people, and foreign governments, who are actively trying to assassinate Trump, having anything short of a full Secret Service protection is extremely dangerous.
Hawley is clearly concerned that whatever half-measures the Secret Service is currently doing to protect him will be no match for Iranian special operations.
Here’s what Hawley had to say: “You know, Sean, it sounds like he’s still not getting the security that he’s been promised, and here’s what this new whistleblower says. He says that investigators are now not allowed to come to all the Trump rallies because if they did, they would see that Trump is not getting the full presidential protective detail. He’s only getting it selectively. So the allegation is Secret Service leadership is now saying to its own internal investigators, no, actually wait, don’t don’t come to that event. Come to this one over here. And they’re trying to conceal the fact Trump is still not getting the full levels of protection. I don’t know why they’re doing this, Sean, other than that they don’t want the public to know the truth.”
This refusal to protect the nominee for one of the two major parties could have devastating consequences, with Iran attempting to target him.
The Secret Service is supposed to be the most bipartisan agency in all of government, being responsible for nothing more than keeping America’s leaders from both parties alive.
It is a head-scratcher that they seem less interested in doing this job when it comes to Donald Trump.
