Joe Biden’s political clout is falling apart.
With his approval ratings collapsing, Biden is desperately trying to turn the ship around.
And now, Kamala Harris just got word of one push to throw her under the bus before the 2024 election.
After more than two years of sinking approval ratings and growing rumors about his ability to even run for a second term, Joe Biden has effectively signaled that he is going to try to force his way into the White House for another four years in 2024.
But that doesn’t mean that Biden’s political standing is on solid ground.
With one poll after another showing that Biden’s political standing is collapsing across the board, the Democrat is now urgently working to try and improve his numbers before he faces off against either Donald Trump or Ron DeSantis in the next election.
But one thing that is holding Biden back is his running mate.
Kamala Harris has never been popular.
In fact, she was so despised by her own party that Harris dropped out of the 2020 presidential primaries before the Iowa caucuses even began.
But that didn’t stop Joe Biden from picking her as his running mate.
And since taking office, Harris has remained one of the most unpopular political leaders in American history.
And Biden knows this.
That’s why there’s a growing effort within the Democratic Party for Biden to dump Harris in 2024 and select someone else as his vice-presidential running mate.
For Harris, this would effectively mark not only the end of her political career, but also one of the most stunning backstabs ever.
But despite the historic implications of dropping Harris off of the ticket, many Democrats have come to believe that this could be the only way for Biden to win another term in 2024.
Fox News reports, “People in Nashville weighed in on whether President Biden should keep Kamala Harris as his running mate in the next election, with several saying neither should be on the ticket.”
“I don’t think he should,” said one man when interviewed by Fox. “I think that she’s in over her head a little bit and probably needs more experience.”
“Biden has yet to formally declare his run for reelection in 2024 but he told reporters last week he plans to announce ‘relatively soon.’ As vice president, Harris has faced criticism from both parties with Democratic leaders saying she’s been underwhelming and that she lacks communication skills,” adds Fox.
“She shouldn’t even be considered,” said another person. “She never should have been considered. She didn’t do well in the presidential election when she was running, and I believe there’s only one reason she is vice president — a woman and her color.”
For Biden and Harris both, their mutual unpopularity threatens to lead Democrats into the ditch in 2024.
Biden’s approval rating has once again fallen below 40%, while Harris’s approval rating has practically never broken that figure since she took office.
And now, Biden is faced with an impossible choice which could lead to ruin no matter which path he takes.
