No one has saved America from COVID tyranny more than Ron DeSantis.
He single-handedly made Florida a bastion of freedom in a world of lockdowns.
And now, he just got big news about being the next President of the United States.
For many years, CPAC – the Conservative Political Action Conference – was held either in Washington, D.C. or in the outskirts of it.
CPAC, of course, is the biggest annual conservative conference in the country. It attracts thousands of the most influential conservatives in America.
In 2021, however, at the height of COVID, the CPAC organizers realized they wouldn’t be able to host their conference in Washington, D.C.
That’s because Washington, like the rest of America, was under strict COVID lockdowns, and no such gatherings were being allowed.
For that reason, the organizers of CPAC realized they would have to move it to a state that still had freedom.
And that’s when Governor Ron DeSantis saved the day. DeSantis, of course, had kept Florida open, and he welcomed CPAC and all of its conservative patriots with open arms.
This year, CPAC is once again in the state of Florida, thanks to DeSantis keeping Florida open for business and free of COVID mandates.
And DeSantis got a chance to speak to a massive, adoring crowd at the 2022 CPAC conference – and he took it to the Left hard.
First, he talked about his COVID policies and how he fought back against Fauci.
“We protected people’s rights, we protected people’s jobs, and made sure every kid in the state of Florida had an opportunity to go to school in person. Freedom has prevailed in the Sunshine State,” DeSantis said.
“My duty is to stand up and protect the jobs of the people I represent.”
DeSantis also stood against Critical Race Theory, the radical racial theory that the Left has pushed, but that DeSantis took action to ban from public schools in Florida.
“We are not going to teach our children to hate themselves and hate each other,” he said, to thunderous applause.
DeSantis also got big news about his chances of becoming the next President of the United States.
Republican voters love DeSantis, but they also love former President Trump. And many have wondered what would happen if the two men ran against each other in a 2024 primary.
It would certainly be an interesting battle, and a new poll from North Florida showed that it would be very close, as expected.
But in a tight race, DeSantis came out slightly ahead, with 44% of Republicans preferring him, and 41% preferring Trump, who also lives in Florida.
The two men have almost identical policies, of course, but DeSantis clearly has impressed Republicans across the country with how he has protected freedom in the state of Florida.
And maybe if he took his policies to a national stage, America would get to taste that freedom as well.
The 2024 Presidential election will be very interesting, but it seems that Ron DeSantis has a good chance to take out the most incompetent President since Jimmy Carter, Joe Biden.
