Joe Biden’s career is falling apart.
But while his approval ratings are at an all time low, one shocking poll shows that even his own party is now turning on him.
And now, there is a very real chance that Biden won’t even get a chance to run for re-election.
Joe Biden is one of the least popular politicians in modern American history.
With an approval rating averaging less than 40% according to RealClearPolitics, Biden’s ratings are worse than any other President in the modern era.
In fact, Biden has been underwater for the better part of the past year, ever since the collapse of the Afghanistan withdraw proved just how incompetent he and his team truly are.
But now, things have only gone from bad to worse as Biden’s approval rating just slipped into previously unchartered waters.
And there are growing signs that it could be too damaged to ever truly repair.
MSN reports, “President Biden is facing an alarming level of doubt from inside his own party, with 64 percent of Democratic voters saying they would prefer a new standard-bearer in the 2024 presidential campaign, according to a New York Times/Siena College poll, as voters nationwide have soured on his leadership, giving him a meager 33 percent job-approval rating.”
The approval rating disaster from the New York Times’ latest Siena poll shows that Biden is more unpopular now than Trump ever was.
But perhaps more damaging for Biden’s career is the fact that even his own party members oppose him in a hypothetical 2024 re-election bid.
“In a sign of deep vulnerability and of unease among what is supposed to be his political base, only 26 percent of Democratic voters said the party should renominate him in 2024. The backlash against Mr. Biden and desire to move in a new direction were particularly acute among younger voters. In the survey, 94 percent of Democrats under the age of 30 said they would prefer a different presidential nominee.” adds MSN.
With around two thirds of Democrats saying they want Biden to step aside for a different party nominee in 2024, it’s no surprise to see Biden’s approval rating stuck in the mud.
But unfortunately, Biden’s very policies may be making the situation much worse for the rest of the country.
Because not only is Biden driving the rest of the country into a recession, but his policies have greatly cut back on further economic growth to get out of the devastation brought about from Democrat governors locking down their states for the better part of a year during Covid.
Once a recession is officially confirmed by the Federal Reserve, there is a very real chance that Biden’s approval rating could fall even lower. Already, it is deeply underwater in several key swing states across the country.
Only time will tell what the political impact of these actions are, but there are already growing signs that Biden’s administration could trigger the largest political backlash against the Left in over a generation.
