The Federal Government is taking a dramatic step to control its citizens.
They are expanding the surveillance state to levels never before seen.
And one new law will make it impossible to drive a car without being watched and targeted by the Feds.
Imagine a world where the Federal Government is able to track any car at any time and can simply press a button to send the car careening off the road.
They might use that power to target people who dissent from Federal Government policies or behave in a way that the Feds consider “socially irresponsible.”
Well that nightmare is on the verge of becoming a reality.
Former U.S. Representative Bob Barr discovered a clause that is buried in the recently-passed infrastructure bill that should terrify all Americans.
He wrote an op-Ed exposing this, which has now been picked up by websites all across the internet.
According to Motorious, which is a car review website, “hidden away in the recently passed infrastructure bill, the very one I warned before would negatively impact drivers across the country if it were to pass, is a measure to install vehicle kill switches into every new car, truck, and SUV sold in this country. The regulation likely won’t be enforced for five years, so maybe there’s time to do something about this.”
Of course, this power would be vested in the hands of the intelligence agencies, which operate in total secret. Congress and the courts have no real power to truly oversee the intelligence community or control their activities.
They could use these powers to target Americans for virtually any reason.
The article continues, “As we’ve seen both in this country and others recently, what constitutes ‘law-abiding’ can change drastically overnight. For example, in September a car was pulled over in New Zealand and the occupants arrested when the police discovered the trunk was full of Kentucky Fried Chicken meals. They were smuggling the fast food to customers in locked-down Auckland, against quarantine measures. Yet not too long before, delivering restaurant orders to people was considered a reputable, legal activity.”
While the COVID crisis seems to be mostly over, there is no way to know what the next crisis will be.
But it’s a sure bet that whenever that crisis comes around, the government will use whatever tools they have at their disposal to impose their will on the American people.
The article concludes, “It’s time for not only car enthusiasts but also regular Americans to get loud and tell their US Representatives and Senators what they think of laws like these. Obviously, our elected officials don’t care too much about our safety or privacy, so we need to remind them what we expect now and moving forward.”
This law goes into effect in 5 years, which means Constitutional conservative citizens have 5 years to lobby their representatives to repeal this terrible law.
Because if this law goes into effect, all Americans will be in danger of being targeted behind the wheel by a monstrous federal government.
